Companies Using ECharts
Our October 2026 crawl finds Apache ECharts on 4,689 live domains, counting sites that load an ECharts build or render an ECharts chart on a page we can open. ECharts is free and open source under the Apache License 2.0, so these are websites, not paying customers, and the count is a floor: copies bundled under another file name and charts behind a login are missed. Below is the list of companies that use ECharts, with size, country, industry and stack. It includes Arcadis and Van Oord on their online annual reports, POSCO, Semrush's AI Visibility Index and the Apache Software Foundation's own projects directory.
ECharts ranks 12th of the 55 technologies we track in Charting & Data Visualization, with 0.96%. The footprint leans Chinese: China leads our matched companies with 467, against 266 for the United States, and Baidu Analytics runs on 12.35% of live ECharts domains. The companies are also bigger than on Recharts: 8.35% of those we matched have more than 1,000 staff, against 0.98%.

ECharts Usage Statistics
ECharts reads 2,247 domains in June 2026, 3,733 in July, 4,284 in August, 4,566 in September and 4,689 in October. The biggest step, June to July, added 1,486 domains. Counts are not a like-for-like series: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and our detection widens over time, so that step reflects changes on our side, both the domains we cover and the signals we detect ECharts with, rather than a surge in adoption. Since 16 March 2026, 737 domains have lost ECharts on at least one hostname; about 85 of them still showed it on another when we re-checked on 12 October.
List of Companies Using ECharts
Our list of companies using ECharts names 50 of the 2,039 matched companies, ranked by LinkedIn following. We opened every row in October 2026 and replaced seven: four carried a company record that didn't match the site, two blocked or timed out on our check, and one no longer loaded ECharts. 42 of the 50 show ECharts on a subdomain, and 17 are investor-relations, annual-report or sustainability sites.
That skew belongs to the list, not the base: ranking by LinkedIn following lifts listed companies to the top. Across all websites using ECharts, only 68 of 4,852 live domains carried it on an investor-relations hostname and 14 on an annual-report or sustainability one when we re-checked on 12 October, while 3,449 showed it on the main site or www.

When ECharts became an Apache top-level project in January 2021, the ASF's announcement named Alibaba, Amazon, Baidu, GitLab, Intel and Tencent as users. Those are the foundation's references, separate from the detections above.
Which Countries Use ECharts the Most?
Which countries use ECharts the most? China, with 467 matched companies, about 1.8 times the United States (266). Thailand (84), India (81), the United Kingdom (67) and Germany (61) follow. Chinese tooling shows in the stack too: Baidu Analytics runs on 12.35% of live domains, with CNZZ (1.86%) and 51.LA (1.4%). Only 291 of 4,852 live ECharts domains in our 12 October count end in .cn, because Chinese firms such as iQiyi and LY.com use .com addresses. These counts cover the 2,039 domains we matched to a company.
Share of the 2,039 ECharts domains we matched to a company record — 43.5% of the 4,689 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
ECharts Market Share Among Charting & Data Visualization
What is ECharts's market share? 0.96% of Charting & Data Visualization, 12th of the 55 technologies we track there, by our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. Chart.js holds 66.4% on 323,384 domains, about 69 times ECharts' 4,689. Highcharts (25,341), ApexCharts.js (23,328), D3 (20,719) and Recharts (5,602) also sit above it. Our rule misses ECharts when it's bundled into an app under another file name, so some sites that use it aren't in this share.
Top Competitors by Market Share
ECharts Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use ECharts? Small ones are the largest group, but the tail is long. 40.34% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 24.72% have 11 to 50. 147 companies, 8.35%, have more than 1,000 staff, against 0.98% on Recharts. Many of the large ones use ECharts on investor-relations or annual-report pages rather than in a product.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
The largest founding decade is the 2010s, at 39.24% of matched companies with a known year, ahead of the 2020s (25.9%) and the 2000s (15.63%). 19.23% predate 2000 and 3.69% predate 1960, a tail that includes Arcadis (founded 1888) and Confindustria (1910). On Recharts, by contrast, 53.31% of matched companies were founded in the 2020s.
What Industries Use ECharts the Most?
Software Development leads at 9.88%, then Financial Services (8.75%), Technology, Information and Internet (7.99%) and IT Services and IT Consulting (6.97%). No industry reaches 10%, and the ten charted here add up to only 46.07%, so most ECharts companies sit outside them. Higher Education (2.27%) and Environmental Services (1.62%) make the top ten, which fits a library that statistics and monitoring portals use, based on our enriched company data.
Listed companies using ECharts are the most visible group in our list: 17 of the 50 named rows are investor-relations, annual-report or sustainability sites, from Thai Union and Siam City Cement to Asmodee and PRIO. Universities using ECharts include Istanbul University, Chiang Mai University and Hebei University, on planning, staff and admissions portals. Statistics offices on ECharts include Statistics South Africa, whose census site charts the population across census years.
ECharts Alternatives & Competitors
Read this table as neighbours that often share a site. Chart.js (66.4%) runs alongside ECharts on 493 domains and ApexCharts.js (4.79%) on 284, so plenty of sites run two libraries side by side. D3 (4.25%) shares 111 domains and Highcharts (5.2%) 62. Since March 2026, 30 domains dropped Highcharts while keeping ECharts and 6 went the other way, but that isn't teams switching: at least 10 of the 30 are company sites using Odin IR's investor widgets, which now load an ECharts build.
ECharts Customer Migration
Tech Stack of ECharts-Powered Websites
Across the 4,844 live ECharts domains in our clean set, the stack is a jQuery-era one. jQuery runs on 59.81%, Bootstrap on 38.58%, Lodash on 33.73% and jQuery UI on 14.82%. Among frameworks, Vue.js leads at 16.8%, often with Element UI (11.02%), a Vue component kit common in Chinese admin systems; Next.js reads 10.28%, React 5.76% and Angular 3.36%. Server-side, Microsoft ASP.NET (6.63%) and Ruby on Rails (6.11%) lead. Google Analytics runs on 38.79% and Baidu Analytics on 12.35%.

Expert Analysis: ECharts Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

I work on how TechnologyChecker.io's data gets used in campaigns, and ECharts is a page where the list and the base tell two different stories. As of our October 2026 crawl, we find Apache ECharts on 4,689 live domains, and 2,039 of them match a company record, a 43.5% match rate. ECharts is free under the Apache License 2.0 (the project's FAQ says so directly), so these are sites, not accounts. A domain counts when a page loads an ECharts build, including from jsDelivr, or renders a chart container ECharts has marked. Copies bundled into an app under another name, and anything behind a login, are missed, so treat the count as a floor. Our detection methods post covers how signals like these are matched.
Growth trajectory
The chart reads 2,247 domains in June 2026, 3,733 in July, 4,284 in August, 4,566 in September and 4,689 in October. Most of that rise came in one step, June to July. Counts are not a like-for-like series over time: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and newly found ones added, and our detection signals widen over time. That step reflects changes on our side, both the domains we cover and the signals we detect ECharts with, rather than a surge in adoption. Since August the line has flattened, adding 123 domains between September and October.
On exits, 737 domains lost ECharts on at least one hostname since we began tracking it on 16 March 2026. When we re-checked on 12 October, about 85 of those still showed it on another hostname.
"ECharts arrives with whoever builds the site, and on this list that's often an investor-relations agency rather than the company's own developers. Find the builder and you've found the buyer." - Sophie Clarke, Product Marketing Manager at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales Signal: Plan on the October count and don't read the June to July jump as a buying window. A domain that first appears in our data isn't necessarily a new build.
A footprint that leans Chinese
ECharts started at Baidu in 2013 and became a top-level Apache project in January 2021, according to the ASF. The base still shows that origin. China leads our matched companies with 467, about 1.8 times the United States (266), and Baidu Analytics runs on 12.35% of live ECharts domains, with CNZZ (1.86%) and 51.LA (1.4%) as well. Domain names undersell it: only 291 of 4,852 live domains end in .cn, because firms such as iQiyi (ec.iqiyi.com), LY.com (flights.ly.com) and Zhaopin use .com addresses. Thailand is third with 84 matched companies, India fourth with 81.
Sales Signal: If you sell into Chinese web teams, ECharts plus Baidu Analytics is a cleaner filter than the .cn suffix. If you don't, exclude Baidu Analytics sites before you build a Western campaign, or about one site in eight will be the wrong market.
Who the companies are
This base is older and larger than Recharts'. 40.34% of matched companies with a size band have 1 to 10 employees, but 147 companies, 8.35%, have more than 1,000, against 0.98% on Recharts. The 2010s are the largest founding decade at 39.24%, and 19.23% were founded before 2000. Industries spread thinly: Software Development leads at 9.88% and the top ten add up to 46.07%, with Higher Education (2.27%) and Environmental Services (1.62%) inside it.
The verified names show where large organisations use it. Semrush draws its AI Visibility Index with ECharts, Netskope its trust portal's maintenance timelines, the Apache Software Foundation its own projects directory, and Statistics South Africa its census charts.
Sales Signal: In our list, ECharts at a large company marks a data-heavy public page: a statistics portal, a public index, an investor site. Pitch data-visualisation services, reporting platforms and accessibility audits to the team that owns that page, not to central IT.
The investor-relations layer
Seventeen of the 50 companies in our named list carry ECharts on an investor-relations, annual-report or sustainability site. For 14 of those 17, the library came with a supplier's platform or template. Seven of the Thai investor sites we opened are served through ShareInvestor Thailand's listedcompany.com platform. Asmodee's and Protector Forsikring's investor sites load an ECharts build from Odin IR, a share-widget provider, and so does BW Offshore's website. PRIO's investor site loads an ECharts chart engine from MZiQ's stock viewer. Four Dutch annual reports, Arcadis, BAM, Van Oord and Unica, load ECharts 5.5.0 from the same file path, which points to one reporting template.
Keep that in proportion. Across the whole base, only 68 of 4,852 live domains carried ECharts on an investor-relations hostname and 14 on an annual-report or sustainability one in the same 12 October check. Ranking by LinkedIn following lifts listed companies to the top of the list.
Sales Signal: For IR-site agencies and reporting-software vendors, the chart library identifies the incumbent supplier. A listedcompany.com or Odin IR footprint tells you who built the site before you call the investor-relations team.
Why this profile has no migration table
Every charting corridor failed our checks. The libraries share sites far more than they replace each other: 493 live ECharts domains also run Chart.js, 284 run ApexCharts.js, 111 run D3 and 62 run Highcharts. The one row that looked like a flow, 30 domains dropping Highcharts while keeping ECharts against 6 the other way, turned out to be led by one supplier. In a sample of 12 we opened, 10 were company sites using Odin IR's investor widgets, and the drops cluster on 4 and 5 July 2026 for five of them. That looks like a vendor changing its chart engine, not customers choosing a library.
"Thirty domains leaving Highcharts sounds like a story until you open them and find the same investor-site widget on ten. That's one supplier's release, and we won't dress it up as a market shift." - Sophie Clarke, Product Marketing Manager at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales Signal: Don't run a "switch from Highcharts" campaign off this data. If you sell a charting product, the opportunity is with the platforms that embed one library across hundreds of client sites.
The stack around ECharts
Across the 4,844 live domains in our clean set, jQuery runs on 59.81%, core-js on 54.21%, Swiper on 43.87% and Bootstrap on 38.58%. Tailwind CSS reads 25.58%. Vue.js is the leading framework at 16.8%, often with Element UI (11.02%) and sometimes Layui (4.42%), another Chinese UI kit. Next.js reads 10.28%, React 5.76% and Angular 3.36%. On the server, Microsoft ASP.NET (6.63%) and Ruby on Rails (6.11%) lead. Google Analytics runs on 38.79%.
Sales Signal: Pitch modernisation carefully. A jQuery and Bootstrap site with ECharts can be a working portal nobody wants to rebuild, and the Vue plus Element UI group is a distinct buyer, worth its own sequence with Chinese-language material.
How to use this list
Start by splitting the list. Filter ECharts plus Baidu Analytics for the China-facing group, and ECharts without it for everyone else. Add a company size of 1,000 or more to reach the enterprise tail, then read the detection URL: an investor. or annualreport. hostname means an agency and the IR team, a main-site chart means an in-house web team.
A workable opener: "I noticed the charts on [page] are built with ECharts. Teams that publish data like that usually [pain point]; here's how [product] helps."
Build and export the filtered list from all 4,689 ECharts domains and 2,039 matched companies on TechnologyChecker.io.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses ECharts?
A broad base with a long enterprise tail. Our October 2026 crawl finds ECharts on 4,689 live domains. Large users include Arcadis and Van Oord on their online annual reports, POSCO, Semrush's AI Visibility Index, Netskope's trust portal and the Apache Software Foundation's projects directory. 8.35% of matched companies have more than 1,000 staff, against 0.98% on Recharts.
How many customers does ECharts have?
ECharts is free, so it has users rather than customers. Our October 2026 crawl finds an ECharts build or chart on 4,689 live domains, 2,039 of them matched to a company. That's a floor, since renamed bundles and charts behind logins are missed. 737 domains lost it on at least one hostname since 16 March 2026, and about 85 of those still ran it elsewhere on 12 October.
What is ECharts's market share?
0.96% of Charting & Data Visualization, 12th of the 55 technologies we track there, on 4,689 domains. Chart.js leads with 66.4% on 323,384 domains, ahead of Highcharts (25,341), ApexCharts.js (23,328), D3 (20,719) and Recharts (5,602). Many sites run more than one library: 493 live ECharts domains also run Chart.js, so the shares overlap rather than divide the market.
What are the best alternatives to ECharts?
Chart.js for simpler charts, ApexCharts.js for dashboards, Highcharts if you're happy to buy a commercial licence, D3 for custom visualisations and Recharts inside React apps. Our data shows little real movement between them. The one sizeable row, 30 domains dropping Highcharts while keeping ECharts, comes partly from one vendor: at least 10 are sites using Odin IR's investor widgets, which now load ECharts.
Which countries use ECharts the most?
China, with 467 matched companies, then the United States (266), Thailand (84), India (81) and the United Kingdom (67). Thailand's showing is visible in our named list, where 12 of 50 companies are Thai and seven run investor sites built on ShareInvestor's platform. These counts cover the 2,039 domains we matched to a company.
What size companies use ECharts?
Small companies are the largest group, but less dominant than on Recharts. 40.34% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 24.72% have 11 to 50. 147 companies, 8.35%, have more than 1,000 staff, against 0.98% on Recharts, and many of the large ones use ECharts on investor-relations or annual-report pages.

What are the differences between ECharts and Recharts?
ECharts works with any framework, is configured through an options object and can render to Canvas or SVG. Recharts is for React only and builds charts from React components that render SVG. Their footprints barely touch: 13 domains run both today. ECharts sites lean on jQuery (59.81%) and Vue.js (16.8%), while 90.33% of Recharts sites run Tailwind CSS.
What are the key differences between ECharts and Highcharts?
Licence first: ECharts is free under the Apache License 2.0, while Highsoft licenses Highcharts under a standard licence agreement, with separate terms for non-commercial use. Both cover many chart types. In our crawl Highcharts is larger, 25,341 domains to 4,689, and 62 domains run both. At least a third of the recent Highcharts-to-ECharts moves we see come from one investor-widget vendor.
Which chart library is better, ChartJS or Apache ECharts?
For a few simple charts, Chart.js is quicker to pick up. For large datasets, maps and dense dashboards, ECharts has more chart types and lets you choose Canvas or SVG rendering. Plenty of sites use both: 493 of the 4,844 live ECharts domains in our clean set also run Chart.js. Chart.js is far more widespread overall, on 323,384 domains.
Does ECharts work with Vue, React and Angular?
Yes. ECharts is plain JavaScript, and community wrappers such as vue-echarts, echarts-for-react and ngx-echarts are available. Vue is the frequent partner in our data: Vue.js runs on 16.8% of live ECharts domains, often with the Element UI component kit (11.02%), against React at 5.76% and Angular at 3.36%. Pick the wrapper that matches your framework; the charts themselves are configured the same way.
