Companies Using Elfsight

I work in product marketing, so when I opened Elfsight in our October 2026 crawl I wanted one thing first: what are these sites showing their visitors? A domain counts here when a page on it loads a script from elfsight.com or elfsightcdn.com, which every Elfsight widget does. That gives 176,213 live domains, 118,505 of them matched to a company. It's a count of sites, not of accounts or paid plans.

What the widgets are

I loaded 40 random live Elfsight domains in a browser and recorded which widget each one asked Elfsight's servers for. 36 opened. On 23 a widget rendered that we could identify, and the mix was lopsided: Google Reviews on 10, an Instagram, X or multi-network social feed on 7, and a popup, announcement bar, countdown timer or button on 4. One site ran an event calendar and one a store locator. Seven more loaded Elfsight's script without asking for a widget while we watched, two pointed at deleted widgets, and two had used up their monthly views.

The 50 companies listed on this page, most of them large, look nothing like that. On 32 of their sites a widget rendered, and 28 of the 32 were social feeds: Instagram feeds on 16 sites, multi-network feeds on 7 and LinkedIn feeds on 6, some sites running more than one. Not one showed Google reviews.

Sales signal: the list splits in two. A local business owner buys social proof for the homepage. A communications team at a large organisation buys a feed of its own posts. Pitch them separately.

Growth, and what it isn't

The chart reads 120,572 domains in June 2026, 128,634 in July, 159,034 in August, 174,329 in September and 176,213 in October. Don't read the August jump as a sales surge. The domains we crawl turn over every month, dead sites out and newly found ones in, and the signals we detect Elfsight with have widened, so 39,828 of today's live domains were first seen in August alone. Since then the line has flattened, with 15,360 first seen in September or October. Since March 2026, 21,918 domains have dropped Elfsight from at least one hostname, and 3,678 of those still ran it on another hostname when I checked.

Sales signal: treat Elfsight as a large, settled pool of about 176,000 sites. October added only 1,884 domains to September's figure, which doesn't support pitching it as a fast-growing segment.

Who the customers are

67.55% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 22.81% have 11 to 50, so 90.36% have 50 staff or fewer. That's a smaller base than Google Maps' profile, at 65.36% in the smallest band, and close to POWR's 72.32%. They're young too: 37.57% were founded in the 2010s and 20.95% in the 2020s. The industry list reads like a high street, with construction (6.17%), retail (5.28%), real estate (4.17%), medical practices (3.33%) and hospitality (3.16%). Then there's a tail of 728 companies above 1,000 staff, including Mahindra, Hard Rock International, France Télévisions, Servier and PerkinElmer.

Sales signal: if you sell reputation management, booking tools or local SEO to service businesses, an Elfsight Google reviews widget marks an owner who already cares how reviews look on the site.

Where they are

The United States has 41,848 matched companies, the United Kingdom 13,313 and Australia 7,754. France is fourth with 7,425, ahead of Germany (5,355) and Canada (4,678). The five English-speaking countries in the top 15 account for 69,021 companies, 58.2% of the matched base. France is where Elfsight differs from its nearest like-for-like rival: one French company for every 5.6 American ones, against roughly one for every 24 on POWR's profile (510 to 12,191). Brazil (3,337) and India (2,690) are the largest markets outside Europe and the English-speaking world.

Sales signal: an English-language campaign covers most of this list, but a French or Spanish one isn't wasted. France and Spain (2,392) hold 9,817 matched companies between them.

Rivals and switching

This page has no competitor table, because Elfsight's real rivals sit in other categories of ours. The overlaps are small. 406 domains run Elfsight and Tagembed together, 187 run Elfsight and EmbedSocial, 108 Elfsight and SnapWidget, 69 Elfsight and Curator and 52 Elfsight and Juicer. None of those pairs passes our switching tests, because most domains ever seen with both still run both. The small flows lean Elfsight's way. Since March, 118 domains dropped one of those five feed tools while keeping Elfsight, and 49 went the other way; Tagembed accounts for 40 against 13, and EmbedSocial for 44 against 11.

Sales signal: for a rival, the Elfsight base is nearly untouched ground. Only 406 of the 176,213 domains also run Tagembed, so lead with a capability Elfsight lacks rather than a switching story.

The stack around it

WordPress runs on 28.45% of live Elfsight domains and Elementor on 13.09%. Squarespace (9.96%), Shopify (9.81%), Webflow (7.03%) and Duda (4.99%) follow, which fits Elfsight's list of 113 supported platforms: no single builder owns its distribution. Google Analytics is on 69.67% and Google Tag Manager on 69.39%. These shares are of the 176,080 domains in our cleaned live set.

Sales signal: agencies that build on Squarespace, Webflow or Duda will meet Elfsight on client sites often enough to need a view on it, whether they resell it or replace it.

The free plan's cap

Elfsight's pricing page (checked 12 October 2026) lists a Free plan with one widget and 200 views a month. Basic, Pro and Premium cost $5, $10 and $20 a month billed yearly for one widget type, with 5,000, 50,000 and 150,000 views; the 96 Apps Pack costs $15, $30 or $60. The page says that going over the monthly limit temporarily deactivates the widget, and we saw it happen. Two sites in the random sample and four of the 50 listed companies, among them Davidson Hospitality Group and the University of Ghana's research directorate, got a views-limit message instead of a widget.

Sales signal: a widget switched off by its view cap leaves a visible gap on a live site. That's an upgrade conversation for Elfsight, and an opening for a rival with a larger free tier.
