Companies Using Clearbit
Our October 2026 crawl finds Clearbit's JavaScript tag on 4,737 domains, nearly three years after HubSpot bought Clearbit and 17 months after Clearbit shut its free tools. The tag runs Clearbit's visitor identification and form enrichment, and it hasn't gone quiet: all 50 sites on our company list still carried it when we loaded them on 10 October. Below are the companies that use Clearbit, with size, country and stack, including Arm, Rippling, Grafana Labs, ClickUp and Contentsquare.
This is a B2B marketing base. Software development (21.54%) and advertising services (11.23%) lead, and 75.29% of matched companies with a known headcount have 50 or fewer staff. It is also shrinking: since our crawl began covering Clearbit in August 2026, 522 live domains have removed the tag from every hostname we crawl. We file Clearbit under Customer Data Platform, where it ranks 10th with 1.54%.

Clearbit Usage Statistics
How many websites use Clearbit? Our count reads 3,595 domains in August 2026, 4,744 in September and 4,737 in October. The chart starts in August because that's when our crawl began covering Clearbit, and the step to September is mostly ours: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and newly found ones added, and our detection widened as coverage of the tag settled. The flat line since then hides real exits. 663 domains have dropped the tag on at least one hostname since 4 August, and 522 of them removed it everywhere we look while the site stayed live.

Which Countries Use Clearbit the Most?
Which countries use Clearbit the most? The United States, with 1,680 matched companies, then the United Kingdom (300), Canada (249), France (153), India (130) and Australia (126). English-speaking markets hold 2,379 of the 3,524 companies we matched, 67.51%. Continental Europe is thin: France is the only country there above 100, and Germany has 39, fewer than Brazil (80). Israel (29) also makes the top fifteen.
Share of the 3,524 Clearbit domains we matched to a company record — 74.4% of the 4,737 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Clearbit Market Share Among Customer Data Platform
What is Clearbit's market share? 1.54% of the Customer Data Platform category, 10th of the 68 tools we track there at TechnologyChecker.io. The category is a loose fit. Segment leads with 78,243 domains, and the second row, Adobe Experience Platform Identity Service (76,447), is the visitor ID service behind Adobe Analytics rather than a CDP anyone chose. Clearbit's tag names the companies visiting a site and fills in forms, so the tools it competes with, ZoomInfo, 6sense, Demandbase and Apollo, sit in other tables.
Top Competitors by Market Share
Clearbit Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use Clearbit? Small ones. 38.28% of matched companies with a known headcount have 11 to 50 employees and 37.01% have one to ten, so 75.29% (2,618 of 3,477) have 50 or fewer. Only 38 employ more than 1,000, Arm and TeamLease among them, and at that size the tag can sit on one site: TeamLease runs it on group.teamlease.com and Tenable on its Brazilian Portuguese pages.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
49.44% of matched companies with a known founding year started in the 2010s and 23.94% in the 2020s, so 73.38% (2,103 of 2,866) were founded in 2010 or later. Only 10.89% predate 2000. It's a software-era base, and the names on our list fit it: Rippling (2016), ClickUp (2016), Grafana Labs (2014) and Checkr (2014).
What Industries Use Clearbit the Most?
Software Development leads at 21.54%, then advertising services (11.23%), IT services (9.4%) and technology, information and internet (7.65%), based on our enriched company data. Software and IT labels add up to 40.71%, and agencies, advertising plus marketing services, to 15.28%. Those are the two kinds of buyer for company data: SaaS teams scoring their own inbound leads, and agencies doing it for clients.
Software companies using Clearbit include Rippling, Grafana Labs, ClickUp, PandaDoc, Kong and Cockroach Labs. Marketing agencies on Clearbit include WebFX and Power Digital Marketing. Security companies using Clearbit include Tenable, ZeroFox and AvePoint.
Clearbit Alternatives & Competitors
Clearbit's table here is the CDP category, led by Segment (78,243 domains, 25.45%) and Lotame (25,769). Both are data platforms for routing events or building audiences, a different job from naming the company behind a visit. The rivals that do that job overlap only modestly with Clearbit: Apollo runs on 11.2% of Clearbit domains, ZoomInfo on 9.43% and 6sense on 5.22%. Leavers don't head to them either. Among the 522 domains that removed Clearbit everywhere, 3.83% run ZoomInfo and 3.64% Apollo, against 9.28% and 10.99% of the 4,623 that never dropped it.
| Technology | Domains | Market Share |
|---|---|---|
| 78,243 | 25.45% | |
| 5,607 | 1.82% | |
Lotame | 25,769 | 8.38% |
| 4,313 | 1.4% |
Clearbit Customer Migration
Are Clearbit customers moving to HubSpot? Our data can't show it, so read this table with care. Each row counts domains that dropped Clearbit and run the other tool today, whenever that tool arrived. 332 such domains run HubSpot (219 in the last 30 days), but 91 of them still load Clearbit on another hostname, and among the 522 that removed it everywhere, 46.17% run HubSpot against 50.03% of those that kept it. We don't detect Breeze Intelligence as a separate product, so a move to it inside HubSpot leaves no trace here.
Tech Stack of Clearbit-Powered Websites
These percentages are of the 4,751 live Clearbit domains in our clean set. HubSpot runs on 50.35%, against 3.89% for Salesforce's Account Engagement and 3.28% for Marketo, so half of Clearbit's remaining base already sits on the platform that bought it. Google Analytics is on 92.32%. Sales-data tools run alongside: Apollo on 11.2%, ZoomInfo on 9.43% and 6sense on 5.22%, with Vector (3.47%) and Qualified (3.3%) further down. HubSpot Chat runs on 14.46% and Intercom on 8.04%.

Expert Analysis: Clearbit Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

HubSpot completed its purchase of Clearbit on 4 December 2023, according to HubSpot's investor release, and has been moving Clearbit's jobs into Breeze Intelligence since. Clearbit's free tools closed on 30 April 2025, per Clearbit's own announcement, and its help centre says it no longer offers new standalone subscriptions. Yet our October 2026 crawl still finds Clearbit's JavaScript tag on 4,737 domains. We matched 3,524 of the 4,751 in our clean live set to a company, a 74.17% match rate. This is a look at that installed base: who still runs the tag, how fast it's coming off, and where the leavers go.
What the tag tells you
We count a site when a page loads a script from clearbitscripts.com or a clearbitjs.com host. That's the website half of Clearbit: Reveal, which Clearbit's homepage describes as turning anonymous traffic into buying intent with IP intelligence, and the form tag that fills fields from an email address. Customers who only call Clearbit's APIs from a CRM don't appear. I loaded the 50 sites on our company list on 10 October 2026 and every one still carried the tag: 38 load tag.clearbitscripts.com, 22 pull scripts from x.clearbitjs.com and 6 fire a pixel from grow.clearbitjs.com. On ClickUp's university site the loader still fetched Clearbit's tracking and forms scripts. One loader, on quinnox.com, carries no account key at all.
Sales signal: a live tag means a marketing team still routes visitor or form data through Clearbit, or did until recently and never removed it. Either way, whoever owns that tag is the person to ask what replaces it.
Growth trajectory
Our crawl began covering Clearbit in August 2026, so the chart is short: 3,595 domains in August, 4,744 in September and 4,737 in October. I wouldn't read the August-to-September jump as adoption. The set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and our detection widened as coverage of the tag settled, so a newly covered technology climbs in its first months whatever the market does. The flat October point is the more honest reading, and underneath it the exits are steady. Since 4 August, 663 domains have dropped the tag on at least one hostname. 141 of them still load it somewhere else, and 522 removed it from every hostname we crawl while the site stayed live: 103 in August, 321 in September and 98 so far in October.
"Nearly three years after the acquisition, 4,737 sites still load Clearbit's tag. That's an installed base waiting on a decision, and 522 of them have made one since early August." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: this list is shrinking, so timing matters. The 522 domains that removed the tag are the freshest conversations for any enrichment vendor, and the 4,737 still running it may follow.
Who the customers are
Small software companies and agencies. 75.29% of matched companies with a known headcount (2,618 of 3,477) have 50 or fewer staff, and only 38 employ more than 1,000. They're young as well: 73.38% (2,103 of 2,866) were founded in 2010 or later, and 10.89% before 2000. Software development is the largest industry at 21.54%, with advertising services next at 11.23%. These are teams that buy company data to score and route their own inbound leads.
The recognisable names fit that pattern: Rippling, Grafana Labs, ClickUp, PandaDoc, Checkr, Kong and Cockroach Labs. The larger ones often run the tag on one property. TeamLease has it on group.teamlease.com, Tenable on its Brazilian Portuguese site, ClickUp on its university site and PandaDoc on its signup page.
Sales signal: pitch the marketing operations lead at a software company of 11 to 50 people, and lead with continuity: what keeps their form shortening and visitor alerts running if the Clearbit tag stops answering.
Industries and countries
Software and IT labels add up to 40.71% of matched companies, and agencies, advertising plus marketing services, another 15.28%. The top ten industries cover 65.92% of the base, so it's concentrated. Geography is narrower still. The United States has 1,680 matched companies, 47.67%, and English-speaking markets together hold 2,379 of the 3,524. France (153) and India (130) are the largest markets outside them. Germany has 39, fewer than Brazil (80).
Sales signal: one message covers most of this list: American, English-language, aimed at SaaS marketing teams and the agencies that run their demand generation.
Where the leavers go
The migration table on this page reads like a HubSpot story, with 332 domains in the "switched to" row. Read it carefully. Those rows count domains that dropped Clearbit and run the other tool today, whenever it arrived, and 91 of the 332 still load Clearbit elsewhere. So I ran the test that matters. Among the 522 domains that removed Clearbit everywhere, 46.17% run HubSpot; among the 4,623 that never dropped it, 50.03% do. Leavers are no more likely to have HubSpot than stayers. Rivals show the same: 3.83% of leavers run ZoomInfo against 9.28% of stayers, 3.64% run Apollo against 10.99%, and 2.87% run 6sense against 5.15%. Of the five tools I tested, Segment is the only one slightly more common among leavers, 11.88% against 9.80%.
"The leavers aren't landing on a rival we can see. Almost half of them already ran HubSpot, so a move to Breeze Intelligence wouldn't leave a new trace in our data." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: treat a removed Clearbit tag as an open seat. These domains stopped identifying visitors with Clearbit, and few of them run ZoomInfo, Apollo or 6sense instead.
The stack around it
Percentages here are of the 4,751 live domains in our clean set. HubSpot runs on 50.35%, against 3.89% for Salesforce's Account Engagement and 3.28% for Marketo, so half of Clearbit's remaining base already runs the platform that bought it. Google Analytics is on 92.32%. Sales-data tools sit beside it: Apollo on 11.2%, ZoomInfo on 9.43% and 6sense on 5.22%, with Vector (3.47%) and Qualified (3.3%) further down. HubSpot Chat runs on 14.46% and Intercom on 8.04%.
Sales signal: for HubSpot's own team, the 50.35% are the obvious Breeze Intelligence conversations. For everyone else, the other half matters more: those sites have no replacement waiting inside a CRM they already run.
Key takeaways
1. 4,737 domains still load Clearbit's tag in October 2026, 3,524 matched to a company.
2. The base is small, young and software-led: 75.29% have 50 or fewer staff and 73.38% were founded in 2010 or later.
3. 522 live domains removed the tag between 4 August and 10 October 2026, 11.02% of the October count.
4. Leavers don't run HubSpot, ZoomInfo or Apollo more often than stayers, so the table's "switched to" rows aren't evidence of switching.
5. Half the remaining base already runs HubSpot; the other half has no Breeze Intelligence path in its stack.
How to use this list
Split it in two. The 522 recent leavers are worth a call now: they turned off company identification, and for most of them none of the rivals we tested took its place. The 4,737 still on the tag suit a slower track, filtered to sites without HubSpot. An opening line for an enrichment vendor: "Your site still loads Clearbit's tag, and Clearbit no longer sells standalone plans; here's how teams your size kept form enrichment running." Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses Clearbit?
Mostly small B2B software companies and marketing agencies. Our October 2026 crawl finds Clearbit's tag on 4,737 domains. Software development (21.54%) and advertising services (11.23%) are the largest industries, and 75.29% of matched companies have 50 or fewer staff. Named users include Arm, Rippling, Grafana Labs, ClickUp, Contentsquare, Tenable and PandaDoc.
How many customers does Clearbit have?
We count 4,737 domains loading Clearbit's tag in October 2026, 3,524 of them matched to a company. That covers sites running the visitor and form tag, so customers who only use Clearbit's APIs don't show. The base is shrinking: since 4 August 2026, 522 live domains have removed the tag from every hostname we crawl, and new standalone sales have stopped.
What is Clearbit's market share?
1.54% of the Customer Data Platform category, 10th of the 68 tools we track there, on 4,737 domains. Segment leads with 78,243 domains (25.45%). The category is an awkward home, because Clearbit's tag identifies companies and enriches forms, so the products it competes with, such as ZoomInfo, 6sense, Demandbase and Apollo, are counted in other tables.
What are the best alternatives to Clearbit?
Clearbit sends new buyers to HubSpot's Breeze Intelligence, its replacement inside HubSpot. Outside HubSpot, comparison pages set it against ZoomInfo, Apollo, 6sense and Demandbase. On Clearbit sites today, Apollo runs on 11.2%, ZoomInfo on 9.43% and 6sense on 5.22%. Leavers aren't moving to them in numbers: of 522 domains that removed Clearbit, 20 run ZoomInfo and 19 Apollo.
Which countries use Clearbit the most?
The United States, with 1,680 matched companies, then the United Kingdom (300), Canada (249), France (153), India (130) and Australia (126). English-speaking markets hold 2,379 of the 3,524 companies we matched, 67.51%. Germany has only 39, fewer than Brazil (80) or the Netherlands (68). These counts cover matched companies, not every domain with the tag.
What size companies use Clearbit?
Mostly small ones. 38.28% of matched companies with a known headcount have 11 to 50 employees and 37.01% have one to ten, so 75.29% have 50 or fewer. Another 17.95% have 51 to 200. Only 38 employ more than 1,000, including Arm and TeamLease, which runs the tag on its group site, group.teamlease.com.
How old are companies that use Clearbit?
Young. 49.44% of matched companies with a known founding year started in the 2010s and 23.94% in the 2020s, so 73.38% were founded in 2010 or later. Only 10.89% predate 2000. Typical names are software companies from the last decade, such as Rippling (2016), ClickUp (2016), Grafana Labs (2014) and Checkr (2014).
What is the ideal customer profile for Clearbit?
From our data: a software company or agency with 11 to 50 staff, based in the United States, founded in the 2010s, running HubSpot (50.35% of Clearbit domains) and Google Analytics, often with Apollo or ZoomInfo beside it. Because Clearbit no longer sells new standalone subscriptions, this describes its installed base rather than its new buyers.
Is Clearbit owned by HubSpot?
Yes. HubSpot completed its acquisition of Clearbit on 4 December 2023, per HubSpot's investor relations release, and Clearbit became a wholly owned subsidiary. HubSpot unveiled Breeze Intelligence at INBOUND 2024 to take over the main jobs of Clearbit's free tools. Clearbit's homepage now opens with 'Clearbit has joined HubSpot', and its help centre points new buyers to Breeze Intelligence.
What is Clearbit used for?
Enriching leads and identifying companies on a website. Clearbit's homepage describes contact and company enrichment, real-time lead scoring and routing, form shortening, and Reveal, which uses IP intelligence to turn anonymous traffic into buying intent. The tag we detect, loaded from clearbitscripts.com or clearbitjs.com, is the part that runs on a website for Reveal and forms.
Is Clearbit Connect free?
Not any more. Clearbit Connect was sunset on 30 April 2025, along with the Free Clearbit Platform, the Weekly Visitor Report, the TAM Calculator and the free Slack integration, per Clearbit's blog. Its help centre adds that free accounts are no longer created. Clearbit points former users of those tools to HubSpot's Breeze Intelligence instead.
How much does Clearbit cost?
Clearbit no longer sells new standalone plans. Its help centre, last updated 30 April 2025, says it's focused on supporting current customers, isn't offering new standalone subscriptions, and recommends HubSpot's Breeze Intelligence, which is bought within HubSpot. We didn't find a public Breeze Intelligence price list on HubSpot's site to quote, so we don't give a figure.
Is Clearbit being shut down?
In stages. Clearbit's free tools closed on 30 April 2025. Its release notes set 8 December 2025 for ending the free Logo API, and logo.clearbit.com no longer resolved when we checked on 10 October 2026. New standalone subscriptions have stopped. The website tag still runs on all 50 sites on our company list. We found no public end date for Reveal.
Are companies removing Clearbit?
Yes, steadily. Since our crawl began covering Clearbit on 4 August 2026, 663 domains have dropped its tag on at least one hostname. 141 still load it elsewhere, and 522 removed it from every hostname we crawl while the site stayed live: 103 in August, 321 in September and 98 so far in October. That's 11.02% of the October count.
