Companies Using Search Atlas

Search Atlas's script changes the page it sits on, so I wanted to know two things: how many sites the pixel is on, and how many it changes. A domain counts here when it loads OTTO's loader from dashboard.searchatlas.com. Our October 2026 crawl finds 6,282 live domains, 4,026 matched to a company, 10th of 48 in SEO Tools. I then requested every home page, 6,279 of them (3,840 answered), and ran 100 random sites through a browser to watch what OTTO sent back.

Domains, sites and owners

The pixel carries a site id. On 2,922 domains I could read it, and they held 2,441 ids, about 1.2 domains per site. Of 3,840 readable home pages, 885 redirected to another domain. The largest owner group is Gray Digital Media: 80 local domains such as gdmtopeka.com forward to pages on graydigitalmedia.com and share one id, 1.27% of the count. Roto-Rooter (31 domains), Subsplash and a Florida injury law firm (16 each) follow. Each site gets its own pixel id, even when one agency manages many, so I looked for agencies in footers instead: 12 of 190 sampled sites credited an agency, and none twice.

Sales signal: dedupe by redirect target before you count accounts. After that, no owner or agency is more than about 1% of this list.

How often OTTO changes anything

Of 100 random sites, the pixel loaded on 73 in a browser. For each, OTTO's script asks Search Atlas's server what to change on that URL. 34 got changes back for the home page; 27 got nothing, 7 got an empty set of changes, one was refused and four never asked. Where there were changes, the first part of each response showed structured data on at least 24 sites, a meta keywords tag on 23, social tags on 17, canonical links on 10 and rewritten page titles on 9. The OTTO pixel page says optimisations stay live even if you change plan.

Sales signal: a site with OTTO connected but idle has paid for automation it isn't getting. That's a conversation for an SEO agency, and for Search Atlas's own customer success team.

Growth, read carefully

We started tracking Search Atlas in early August. The chart reads 4,521 in August, 6,162 in September and 6,282 in October. That step reflects our side as much as theirs: the domains we crawl turn over every month and our detection widens. Our count also misses older installs. 814 live domains load the pixel from dashboard.linkgraph.com, an address from Search Atlas's LinkGraph days that now redirects to the same script, and only 31 of them also use the new host. 809 domains have dropped the pixel since August, 181 of them still load it on another hostname, and when I opened 80 leavers, 24 were loading OTTO again.

Sales signal: combine both addresses when you build a list. The sites on the LinkGraph address are older installs that a search on one host misses.

Who the customers are

58.58% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 29.57% have 11 to 50, a bigger middle than the Shopify SEO apps in this category. 29 have more than 1,000 staff, including Roto-Rooter, Covetrus, Watermark Retirement Communities and Nefab. 21.45% were founded before 2000. Search Atlas's case studies are its own; every name on our list is a site we opened in October 2026.

Sales signal: these are owner-run service firms with a website that brings in leads. They buy on outcomes, calls and form fills, more than on features.

American, local and service-led

The United States has 2,864 matched companies; Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom add 773 between them. Construction leads the industries at 7.5%, then Advertising Services (5.79%) and Medical Practices (4.08%). Agencies, counting Marketing Services too, are 9.29%. Restaurant chains show up in numbers: City Barbeque, Tatte Bakery, Shipley Donuts, Your Pie and Rusty Taco.

Sales signal: local-SEO and reputation tools fit this list better than enterprise SEO suites. The multi-location restaurant and home-services brands are the largest accounts.

OTTO on top of a WordPress plugin

WordPress runs on 31.55% of the 6,279 live domains in our stack base and Google Tag Manager on 87.53%. Plenty of these sites already have an SEO plugin: 850 run Search Atlas and Yoast SEO today, 485 run it with RankMath SEO and 92 with All in One SEO Pack. Most domains ever seen with each pair still run both, so OTTO is being added on top, not swapped in. On those sites two systems can write the same title and structured data. A few also run visitor-identification tags: 42 load Leadsy, a tag Instantly.ai's own site loads as its visitor tracking; we found nothing tying it to Search Atlas.

Sales signal: the 850 Yoast and 485 RankMath sites are a technical-audit list. Check which system's title wins in the rendered page before you pitch.

What it costs

Search Atlas's pricing page, checked on 14 October 2026, lists Starter at $99 a month for one OTTO site, Growth at $199 for two, Pro at $399 for four with white-label reporting, and Agency from $999 for ten, each with a 7-day trial. Its about page names Manick Bhan as founder, CEO and CTO and claims more than 5,000 agencies use OTTO.

Sales signal: at $99 a month per site on Starter, OTTO is a deliberate spend for a small business. Sites where it's idle are the ones I'd expect to cancel first.
