Companies Using Photo Gallery by 10Web

I expected Photo Gallery by 10Web to be a photographers' plugin. Our October 2026 crawl says otherwise. A domain counts here when its pages load the plugin's files from its folder in /wp-content/plugins/, and that gives 50,578 live domains, 2nd of 29 in Photo Galleries and the largest gallery plugin in that table. We matched 31,389 of them to a company. Photography doesn't make the top ten industries. Construction does, at 7.13%.

Installs, not galleries

By default the plugin queues its stylesheet and script on every page, so the count measures where it's installed and active, not where a gallery appears. I checked 45 random live domains. 34 home pages loaded the plugin, and only 4 of those showed a gallery; the rest carry its files on pages with no gallery at all. A settings option makes it load only where a gallery is used, and sites that turn it on show up only when we crawl such a page, so if anything 50,578 is a floor.

Sales signal: a domain on this list tells you WordPress is running and someone installed a gallery plugin. It doesn't tell you the site has a portfolio. If you sell photography, image hosting or asset management, look for a real gallery before you pitch.

A flat line once the crawl settles

The chart reads 44,740 in June, 49,071 in July, 49,432 in August, 50,426 in September and 50,578 in October. Most of the June to July step is ours: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month as dead sites drop out and new ones are found, and our detection widened over the same period. After July the line moves by less than 1,000 a month. 5,159 domains have dropped the plugin on at least one hostname since we began tracking it in March 2026, and when I rechecked, 675 of them still loaded it on another hostname.

Sales signal: this is a stable pool of about 50,000 domains. The plugin has been listed on wordpress.org since January 2014 and its listing shows 100,000+ active installations, so you're prospecting a mature base, not a fast-growing one.

Who the customers are

68.01% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 20.55% have 11 to 50. The 2010s are the biggest founding decade (36.49%), and 34.09% were founded before 2000, so the typical buyer is an established small firm, a contractor or a practice, rather than a startup. There are 266 companies above 1,000 staff. At larger organisations the plugin usually lives on one property: IndiaMART's corporate site, School Specialty's blog, Babson College's entrepreneurship site. Herff Jones, Maryville University and Medical Teams International run it on their main sites.

Sales signal: at large accounts the buyer owns one site, often a communications or marketing team running a blog or microsite. At small ones it's the owner, or whoever built the site for them.

Where they are

The United States leads with 9,329 matched companies, then Germany (2,446), the United Kingdom (2,136) and India (1,727). India's position is unusual for this category: 4th here, 12th on the Responsive Lightbox & Gallery profile (651) and 12th on NextGEN Gallery's (292). Brazil (1,014) and Poland (817) also make the top twelve. The named list leans to universities, banks and public agencies in Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, the Philippines and Latin America, because it's ordered by LinkedIn following and those institutions have large followings.

Sales signal: for agencies selling WordPress care plans in India or Brazil, this plugin gives a longer list than NextGEN Gallery, which has 292 Indian and 331 Brazilian matched companies against Photo Gallery's 1,727 and 1,014.

Next to the other gallery plugins

There's no migration table on this page, and that's a finding. Slider Revolution sits on 7,354 Photo Gallery domains today, 14.74% of the 49,886 we checked for co-installed technology. Responsive Lightbox & Gallery is on 678, NextGEN Gallery on 334 and FooGallery on 150. For every one of those pairs, most domains ever seen with both still run both, so none passes our switching tests. Sites don't swap gallery plugins much. They add one and leave the other in place.

Sales signal: a second gallery plugin is a clean-up job. Sites loading two sets of gallery files on every page are a natural audience for a speed audit.

The stack around it

Every domain runs WordPress. Elementor is on 22.15%, Divi on 5.07%, SiteOrigin on 4.89% and WPBakery on 3.61%. Google Analytics runs on 43.14%. Site Kit (6.1%) and MonsterInsights (5.01%) trail well behind. The consent tools are WordPress plugins too: CookieYes (6.5%), Cookie Notice (4.08%) and Complianz (3.62%). Cloudflare sits in front of 16.08%.

Sales signal: sell through the dashboard. Plugins, themes and hosting upgrades reach these owners more easily than tools that need a developer.

Versions and upkeep

In January 2026 Search Engine Journal reported a medium-severity flaw (5.3) in versions up to 1.8.36 that let unauthenticated visitors delete image comments, a Pro-only feature. The current version, 1.8.47, shipped on 28 September 2026. Of the 28 home pages in my sample that showed a version, 13 ran 1.8.36 or older and 10 ran 1.8.47. It's a small sample, but it fits a base where many owners don't update.

Sales signal: the plugin prints its version in its file addresses, so maintenance and security vendors can qualify sites that skip updates straight from the page source.

What it costs

10Web's plugin page (checked 14 October 2026) lists a free version with security updates only, then Basic at $30 for one site, Pro at $60 for five and a Plugin Bundle at $100 for 30 sites, each with six months of updates and support. The bundle adds 10Web's other plugins, such as Form Maker and Event Calendar. On wordpress.org the plugin averages 4.5 stars from 1,581 ratings.

Sales signal: paid licences cover six months of updates, so plenty of sites end up on a frozen version. Those owners are the market for maintenance plans.
