FooGallery Usage Statistics
FooGallery reads 7,431 live domains in June 2026, 8,529 in July, 8,642 in August, 8,845 in September and 8,936 in October. The June to July step reflects our side: the domains we crawl turn over every month, with dead sites dropping out and newly found ones added, and our detection widened over those months. Since March 2026, 2,473 domains have dropped it on at least one hostname, and 192 of those still load it elsewhere. That's high next to the headline, and part of it is probably how FooGallery loads: its files mostly appear where a gallery does, so taking a gallery off the page we crawl can look like a drop.

Which Countries Use FooGallery the Most?
Which countries use FooGallery the most? The United States, with 1,242 matched companies, then Germany (493), the United Kingdom (434) and India (421). Brazil (260) and France (253) follow. India's 4th place matches Photo Gallery by 10Web's profile, and South Africa (71) makes the top 13 here. These counts cover the 5,420 domains we matched to a company.
Share of the 5,420 FooGallery domains we matched to a company record — 60.7% of the 8,936 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
FooGallery Market Share Among Photo Galleries
What is FooGallery's market share? 0.59% of Photo Galleries, 7th of the 29 products we track there, based on our October 2026 crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. Read the rank with care. Slider Revolution (85.99%) and Master Slider are sliders, and NextGEN Gallery fills two rows, 5th and 6th, because our catalog lists it twice. Among distinct gallery plugins FooGallery is 4th, behind Photo Gallery by 10Web (50,578 domains), Responsive Lightbox & Gallery (48,283) and NextGEN Gallery (23,180).
Top Competitors by Market Share
FooGallery Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use FooGallery? Mostly small ones. 67.23% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 20.45% have 11 to 50. 52 have more than 1,000 staff, such as La Fabril in Ecuador, the City of Muntinlupa in the Philippines and Northeast Health Wangaratta in Australia, and a few bigger organisations use it on a single event or alumni site.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
The 2010s are the largest founding decade at 35.93%, then the 2000s (22.15%). 10.96% were founded in the 2020s, more than on the Photo Gallery by 10Web (8.26%), Responsive Lightbox & Gallery (6.77%) and NextGEN Gallery (4.2%) profiles, so FooGallery's customers skew a little younger than its rivals'. Still, 30.95% were founded before 2000.
What Industries Use FooGallery the Most?
Construction leads at 8.42%, then retail (3.64%), hospitality (3.08%) and individual and family services (2.88%), based on our enriched company data. Photography is 5th at 2.76%, and it doesn't make the top ten on Photo Gallery by 10Web's or Responsive Lightbox & Gallery's profiles. The top ten add up to 31.82% of matched companies with an industry.
Construction companies using FooGallery are the largest group, including Seven Spikes in the UAE and SPD Construction in India. Schools using FooGallery include Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa, Foundation Public School in Pakistan and Sekolah Mutiara Bunda in Indonesia. Public bodies on FooGallery include the City of Muntinlupa, Lo Barnechea in Santiago and the Ethiopian Public Health Institute, on its centenary site.
FooGallery Alternatives & Competitors
Overlap with the other gallery plugins is thin. Responsive Lightbox & Gallery shares 213 domains with FooGallery, Photo Gallery by 10Web 150 and NextGEN Gallery just 29, while 1,147 FooGallery domains also run Slider Revolution (12.67% of the 9,056 we checked for co-installed technology). For each pair, most domains ever seen with both still run both, so none passes our switching tests.

Expert Analysis: FooGallery Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

FooGallery is the smallest of the four WordPress gallery plugins I profiled from our October 2026 crawl, and the one whose count means the most. A domain counts here when its pages load FooGallery's stylesheet from its plugin folder or define its FooGallery script object. That gives 8,936 live domains, 7th of 29 in Photo Galleries and 4th among distinct gallery plugins, with 5,420 matched to a company. FooPlugins keeps it busy: version 3.3.8 shipped on 7 October 2026.
A count of galleries, mostly
I opened 45 random live domains. 42 home pages loaded FooGallery, and 34 of those showed one of its galleries. Running the same test, Photo Gallery by 10Web managed 4 of 34, NextGEN Gallery 20 of 41, and Responsive Lightbox & Gallery showed none of its own galleries on 43. FooGallery's files mostly load where a gallery is. That's one reason its count is so far below its 100,000+ wordpress.org installs: a site whose galleries sit on inner pages only shows up when we crawl one. It also makes the list sharper.
Sales signal: if you sell to sites that display image galleries, such as image CDNs, lazy-loading tools or photography services, this is the most qualified of the four gallery-plugin lists.
Flat, with a lot of coming and going
The chart reads 7,431 in June, 8,529 in July, 8,642 in August, 8,845 in September and 8,936 in October. The June to July step is ours: the domains we crawl turn over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and our detection widened over the same months. The churn figure is the odd one. 2,473 domains have dropped FooGallery on at least one hostname since March 2026, 27.7% of the headline, against 10.2% for Photo Gallery by 10Web (5,159 of 50,578). Only 192 still load it on another hostname. Because FooGallery's files follow its galleries, a gallery moved off the crawled page reads as a drop, so part of that churn is probably pages changing, not plugins being removed.
"34 of the 42 home pages that loaded FooGallery showed one of its galleries. Its count is smaller than its rivals', but it's closer to a count of real galleries." - Emma Davies, Data Analyst at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: don't read the drop figure as a list of unhappy users. Recheck a domain before treating it as a lost FooGallery customer.
Who the customers are
67.23% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 20.45% have 11 to 50. They're younger, too. 10.96% were founded in the 2020s, against 4.2% for NextGEN Gallery. Photography is the 5th industry at 2.76%, behind construction (8.42%), retail, hospitality and individual and family services. 52 companies have more than 1,000 staff, and the named list shows how they use it: Acumatica on its Summit event site, UCSI University on its alumni network, the Ethiopian Public Health Institute on its centenary site.
Sales signal: at larger organisations FooGallery marks an events or communications team with a WordPress site of its own. That team is the buyer for photography, video and event tools.
Where they are
The United States has 1,242 matched companies, then Germany (493), the United Kingdom (434) and India (421). Brazil (260) and France (253) follow, and South Africa (71) makes the top 13. The shape is close to Photo Gallery by 10Web's, with India 4th in both, and less German than Responsive Lightbox & Gallery's.
Sales signal: English-language markets plus India cover most of the matched list; Germany is a smaller second market here than for the lightbox plugin.
The Elementor connection
Shares here are of the 9,056 live domains we checked for co-installed technology. Elementor runs on 34.34% of them, against 22.15% on Photo Gallery by 10Web's domains, 11.35% on Responsive Lightbox & Gallery's and 8.87% on NextGEN Gallery's. Divi is on 8.37%. Masonry loads on 31.42% and Swiper on 25.67%, and Google Analytics runs on 45.3%. The consent tools are WordPress plugins: CookieYes (6.48%), Complianz (5.65%) and Cookie Notice (3.79%).
Sales signal: Elementor add-on and template sellers will find a third of this list already on their platform, a higher share than on any of the other three gallery-plugin profiles.
Next to the other gallery plugins
There's no migration table on this page. 1,147 FooGallery domains also run Slider Revolution today, 12.67% of the 9,056. Responsive Lightbox & Gallery is on 213, Photo Gallery by 10Web on 150 and NextGEN Gallery on only 29. For each pair, most domains ever seen with both still run both, so none passes our switching tests. FooGallery's free version includes a migrator for galleries built in Envira, NextGEN and Modula, but our crawl doesn't show it pulling NextGEN sites over in any number.
"Only 29 domains run FooGallery and NextGEN Gallery together. The two plugins serve different sites more than they fight over the same ones." - Emma Davies, Data Analyst at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: FooPlugins' best prospects are NextGEN sites built with Elementor, where both the migrator and the page-builder fit apply.
FooBox is not FooGallery
FooPlugins also makes FooBox, a separate lightbox plugin whose script lists FooGallery's CSS classes so it can open FooGallery images. When I checked the named companies, two pages carried only FooBox. I removed them. In the random sample, every page that mentioned FooGallery had its real files or galleries, so FooBox doesn't look like a material share of the headline.
Sales signal: if you build your own list from page source, match FooGallery's plugin folder, not the word FooGallery.
What it costs
The core plugin is free, with seven layouts, a lightbox and albums. FooPlugins' plans page (checked 14 October 2026) lists PRO Starter at $49.99 a year for one site, PRO Expert at $79.99 for five and PRO Commerce at $109.99 for 25, with lifetime licences from $199.99 and a 30-day refund guarantee.
Sales signal: lifetime licences don't renew, so part of FooGallery's paying base never comes up for renewal. Services around it, such as hosting and image delivery, are where recurring spend sits.
Key takeaways
1. 8,936 live domains, 7th of 29 and 4th among distinct gallery plugins.
2. The most gallery-dense count of the four: 34 of 42 sampled home pages showed a gallery.
3. Younger customers: 10.96% founded in the 2020s.
4. An Elementor audience, at 34.34% of domains.
5. High recorded churn, partly because galleries move between pages.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses FooGallery?
Mostly small businesses on WordPress, often on sites built with Elementor. Our October 2026 crawl finds FooGallery on 8,936 live domains; 67.23% of matched companies have 1 to 10 employees, construction leads at 8.42% and photography is 5th. Named users include Acumatica's Summit site, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Berkeley Preparatory School and the City of Muntinlupa.
How many customers does FooGallery have?
We count 8,936 live domains in our October 2026 crawl, 5,420 of them matched to a company, while its wordpress.org listing shows 100,000+ active installations. The gap is wide partly because FooGallery's files mostly load only where a gallery is shown, so we mostly see a site when the page we crawl has one. Since March 2026, 2,473 domains have dropped it.
What is FooGallery's market share?
0.59% of Photo Galleries, 7th of the 29 products we track there, on 8,936 domains. The rank understates it: Slider Revolution (85.99%) and Master Slider are sliders, and NextGEN Gallery takes two rows because our catalog lists it twice. Among distinct gallery plugins FooGallery is 4th, behind Photo Gallery by 10Web, Responsive Lightbox & Gallery and NextGEN Gallery.
What are the best alternatives to FooGallery?
By live domains in our crawl: Photo Gallery by 10Web (50,578); Responsive Lightbox & Gallery (48,283), mostly used as a lightbox; and NextGEN Gallery (23,180), Imagely's plugin with proofing and print sales. All have free versions. Few sites swap, though: for each pair, most domains ever seen with FooGallery and the rival still run both.
Which countries use FooGallery the most?
The United States, with 1,242 matched companies, then Germany (493), the United Kingdom (434), India (421), Brazil (260) and France (253). India ranks 4th, as it does on Photo Gallery by 10Web's profile, while Responsive Lightbox & Gallery's users lean further toward Germany. These counts cover the 5,420 domains we matched to a company in our October 2026 crawl.
What size companies use FooGallery?
Small ones. 67.23% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 20.45% have 11 to 50, so 87.68% have 50 staff or fewer. 52 have more than 1,000, such as La Fabril in Ecuador, the City of Muntinlupa and Northeast Health Wangaratta in Australia, and some larger organisations use it only on an event or alumni site.
How old are companies that use FooGallery?
Younger than its rivals' customers. The 2010s are the largest founding decade (35.93%), and 10.96% were founded in the 2020s, against 8.26% on Photo Gallery by 10Web's profile, 6.77% on Responsive Lightbox & Gallery's and 4.2% on NextGEN Gallery's. Still, 30.95% were founded before 2000, so most are established small businesses rather than startups.
What is the ideal customer profile for FooGallery?

Some do, more than with its bigger rivals. Photography is FooGallery's 5th industry at 2.76% of matched companies, while it doesn't make Photo Gallery by 10Web's or Responsive Lightbox & Gallery's top ten. Construction still leads at 8.42%, so contractors showing finished work outnumber photographers about three to one among the companies we matched.
