Companies Using Google Sign-in
Our October 2026 crawl finds Sign in with Google, the Google button or the One Tap prompt, on 213,670 live domains. That count leaves out 38,487 domain-for-sale and gambling pages, most of them landers from one domain marketplace whose template offers One Tap. Below is the list of companies that use Google Sign-in, with size, country and stack. It includes Uber, Pinterest, Atlassian, Indeed and Coinbase, and a long tail of small sites, some of which got the button from their website platform.
Google Sign-in ranks 2nd of 54 technologies in Identity & Access (SSO/CIAM), with 21.53% on the cleaned count. Facebook Login is 1st, but its detection reads the Facebook JavaScript SDK, not a login button, so the two aren't like for like. The base is small and young: 64.47% of matched companies have 1 to 10 staff, and Real Estate is the top industry because agent-website platforms put Google sign-in on their property search.

Which Countries Use Google Sign-in the Most?
Which countries use Google Sign-in the most? The United States, with 27,993 matched companies, then the United Kingdom (8,448), India (7,453), Brazil (5,084) and Canada (3,810). India ranks above every European country, France (3,317) and Germany (2,358) included, and Indian consumer sites on our list, such as Myntra, Policybazaar's account page and Zomato's blog, offer it. Poland (3,068) is a surprise in seventh. These counts cover the 101,406 domains we matched to a company.
Share of the 101,406 Google Sign-in domains we matched to a company record — 47.5% of the 213,670 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Google Sign-in Market Share Among Identity & Access (SSO/CIAM)
What is Google Sign-in's market share? On the cleaned count, 21.53% of Identity & Access (SSO/CIAM), 2nd of the 54 technologies we track there, based on our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. Facebook Login is 1st with 617,483 domains, but that detection reads the Facebook JavaScript SDK, not the login button itself, so the two counts aren't like for like. Below Google the table drops fast: LinkedIn Sign-in has 22,412 domains, about a tenth of Google Sign-in's 213,670.
Top Competitors by Market Share
Google Sign-in Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use Google Sign-in? Mostly small ones. 64.47% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 22.78% have 11 to 50, so 87.25% have 50 staff or fewer, and many of the smallest got the button with a website platform. 1,204 companies have more than 1,000 staff. At those, Google sign-in often sits on the account system, on hosts like id.atlassian.com, signin.realmadrid.com or passport.amazon.jobs.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
41.69% of matched companies were founded in the 2010s and 28.33% in the 2020s, so 70.02% started in 2010 or later. The 2000s add 15.47%, and only 2.55% predate 1960. The 2020s band alone, companies six years old or less, is more than a quarter of those we matched, based on our enriched company data.
What Industries Use Google Sign-in the Most?
Real Estate leads at 7.57%, ahead of Technology, Information and Internet (5.49%), Software Development (5.04%) and Restaurants (4.73%), based on our enriched company data. Real estate is first for a platform reason: 17 of the 18 Real Estate sites we sampled run on agent-website platforms, iHOUSEweb, Sierra Interactive and Placester among them, which add Google sign-in to their property-search sign-up. Add IT Services (3.86%) to the internet and software rows and the three hold 14.39% together.
Real estate companies using Google Sign-in include eXp Realty, on its main site, and Lennar, on its careers site. Restaurant brands using Google Sign-in put it on ordering sites: Marco's Pizza and Domino's Pakistan both load it. Software companies on Google Sign-in such as Atlassian, Canva and Wix offer it on their login or home pages, based on our checks in October 2026.
Google Sign-in Alternatives & Competitors
Our data shows sites adding sign-in buttons, not swapping them. Apple's button mostly sits next to Google's: 7,105 domains offer both today, about two thirds of Apple Sign-in's 10,499 domains. LinkedIn Sign-in is more often on its own, with 2,321 of its 22,412 domains also offering Google. 248 domains pair Google sign-in with Auth0 (6,095 domains). Microsoft's MSAL (3,055) and Login with Amazon (1,388) are smaller again. None of these pairs passes our switching tests, because most domains we've seen with both still run both.
| Technology | Domains | Market Share |
|---|---|---|
| 10,499 | 1.06% | |
| 22,412 | 2.26% | |
Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) | 3,055 | 0.31% |

Across the 213,674 live domains in our stack sample, Google Analytics runs on 71.36% and WordPress on 36.72%, with Elementor on 15.34% and WooCommerce on 9.31%. The app side shows too: Next.js is on 8.41%, Amazon Web Services on 8.84%, Vercel on 3.3% and Firebase on 3.07%. Some of that comes through an auth library: 531 domains run Google sign-in with NextAuth.js today and 107 with Clerk.

How We Counted Google Sign-in Sites
A domain counts here if the page we load offers Sign in with Google. That means it loads Google Identity Services from accounts.google.com/gsi/client, which draws the button and the One Tap prompt, sets a Google sign-in client ID in the page, embeds a Google OAuth frame or link, or carries the google-signin-client_id meta tag from Google's older, deprecated library. Sites that show the button only on a login page we don't load are missed, so the count is a floor.
Before computing anything we removed 38,487 of 252,157 raw live domains, 15.3%, that pass that test but are for sale or gambling. 31,850 are "Premium Domain For Sale | Atom" landing pages, whose template offers One Tap sign-in; 1,871 are other domain-for-sale pages and about 4,759 are gambling sites. Every chart and table on this page uses the remaining 213,670, and the 21.53% share and 2nd place are recomputed with this page's count cleaned. The competitors' rows are barely affected (Apple Sign-in loses 272 of 10,752 domains, the others fewer than 10), so they're shown as published. Our category table hasn't had this correction and still counts Google Sign-in raw, at 251,406 domains and a 24.4% share, which is why the two pages disagree.
Three smaller template effects stay in the count because each adds a few hundred domains or fewer. Transcend's hosted privacy centres carry the legacy meta tag with Transcend's own client ID, Instapage's 404 page loads Google's script, and the Brivity real-estate sites we checked carry the meta tag with a placeholder value instead of a client ID. We kept companies detected only through those templates, or through a meta tag inside an HTML comment, off the company list. Cleaned counts exist for October 2026 only, so this page shows one reading and no usage chart.
Expert Analysis: Google Sign-in Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

With more than ten years in technographic data, I start every profile by asking what the rule counts, and for Google Sign-in that question took about 15% off the raw number. Our October 2026 crawl finds Sign in with Google on 252,157 live domains before cleaning. 38,487 of them are domains for sale or gambling pages, so the base for everything below is 213,670 live domains, 101,406 of them matched to a company.
The for-sale problem
31,850 domains carry the title "Premium Domain For Sale | Atom". Atom's landing-page template offers One Tap sign-in, so parked names on that marketplace look like Google Sign-in sites. Another 1,871 for-sale pages and about 4,759 gambling sites came out too. A few smaller template effects are still inside the 213,670: hosted privacy centres, a landing-page builder's 404 page and one real-estate platform's placeholder tag each add a few hundred domains or fewer, and I kept those sites off the company list.
Sales Signal: 15.3% of a raw Google Sign-in list is for sale or gambling. Drop short brandable .com names with no company behind them before any outreach.
One reading, not a trend
The cleaned count exists for October 2026 only, so this page has no usage chart, and I won't infer growth from a single point. Even a raw history wouldn't be a clean adoption curve: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and newly found ones added, and our detection signals widen over time. What I can describe is where the button sits today.
"Sign in with Google is on more than 200,000 live domains, and for a lot of small sites the decision to add it was made by their website platform, not by them." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder, TechnologyChecker.io
Sales Signal: with one reading, sell on what a site has built around the button. There's no adoption momentum on this page to sell on.
Customer profile
The base is small and young. 64.47% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees, 87.25% have 50 or fewer, and 70.02% were founded in 2010 or later. At the top end, 1,204 companies have more than 1,000 staff, and they put the button where accounts are created: Atlassian on id.atlassian.com, Revolut on its single sign-on page, Amazon on its jobs portal, Real Madrid on its member sign-in. Uber, Pinterest, Indeed, Canva, Coinbase and CNN load it on their main sites. Pinterest is also one of Google's published Sign in with Google case studies.
Sales Signal: at a large company, Google sign-in belongs to the identity or growth team behind the account system, not to marketing.
Industry and geography
Real Estate leads at 7.57%, and the reason is a platform choice. 17 of the 18 Real Estate sites we sampled run on agent-website platforms, iHOUSEweb, Sierra Interactive, Placester and Brivity among them, which add Google sign-in to their property-search sign-up. The Brivity sites we checked carry only a placeholder tag, so those agents are counted without a working button. The internet, software and IT services industries add 14.39% between them, and restaurants 4.73%, including ordering sites such as Marco's Pizza and Domino's Pakistan.
By country, the United States leads with 27,993 matched companies, then the United Kingdom (8,448), India (7,453) and Brazil (5,084). India above every European country is the surprise, and the Indian consumer sites on our list, Myntra, Policybazaar and Zomato among them, fit it.
Sales Signal: in real estate, sell to the platform. One platform decision changes the login on hundreds or thousands of agent sites at once.
What runs next to it
Sites add sign-in buttons and keep the old ones. 7,105 domains offer both Google and Apple sign-in today, about two thirds of Apple Sign-in's 10,499 domains, and 2,321 pair Google with LinkedIn. Auth libraries show up as well: 531 domains run Google sign-in with NextAuth.js, which often provides it, 248 with Auth0 and 107 with Clerk. None of these pairs passes our switching tests, because most domains we've seen with both still run both.
"If a site offers Apple's sign-in, the odds are two to one it offers Google's too. For anyone selling login tools, Google's button is the baseline and everything else is an add-on." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder, TechnologyChecker.io
Sales Signal: a site with Google's button but no second method is the natural prospect for anyone selling another sign-in option or a single login layer.
The stack around it
Across the 213,674 live domains in our stack sample, Google Analytics runs on 71.36% and WordPress on 36.72%, with Elementor at 15.34% and WooCommerce at 9.31%. The app side is clear as well: Amazon Web Services on 8.84%, Next.js on 8.41%, Vercel on 3.3%, Firebase on 3.07% and Nuxt.js on 2.74%. That makes the Google Sign-in base two populations, WordPress business sites and JavaScript apps, with different owners.
Sales Signal: split the list by stack before writing a message. A WordPress site whose plugin added the button and a Next.js app with a hand-built login have different buyers and different problems.
What Google says, and what we see
Google's developer overview describes Sign in with Google as one library for a personalised button, One Tap and automatic sign-in, and its product page claims up to 8x improvements in sign-up conversion. The older Google Sign-In JavaScript library was deprecated on 31 March 2023; client IDs created after 29 July 2022 can't use it, and no sunset date is set. Our rule counts both versions. Google lists no fee for the button itself, and costs start only when sign-in runs through Google Cloud Identity Platform, which is free up to 50,000 monthly active users for social sign-ins.
Sales Signal: a site still carrying the legacy meta tag has a migration it hasn't finished. That's a technical conversation and a good reason to start one.
Key takeaways
- 213,670 live domains after removing 38,487 for-sale and gambling pages; 2nd of 54 in Identity & Access with 21.53%.
- 87.25% of matched companies have 50 staff or fewer, and 70.02% were founded in 2010 or later.
- Real estate leads because agent-website platforms add the button for their customers.
- Apple's button usually sits beside Google's: 7,105 domains offer both.
- Large companies put it on account, sign-in and careers subdomains.
How to use this list
Outreach template: "Hi [Name], [domain] offers Sign in with Google on [page]. If you're planning to add a second sign-in method, here's how [product] handles several without a rebuild of your login."
Targeting strategy: filter Google Sign-in companies with 11 to 200 staff that run Next.js or Firebase. That's the app-building segment, where someone on the team built the login.
Competitive angle: in real estate, check the site platform first. A Sierra Interactive or iHOUSEweb site got Google sign-in from its platform, so the buyer is the platform.
The full Google Sign-in list on TechnologyChecker.io covers 213,670 live domains and 101,406 matched companies from our October 2026 crawl. Our guide to technology detection methods explains why a script on a page doesn't always mean a customer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses Google Sign-in?
Mostly small businesses and consumer apps. Our October 2026 crawl finds Sign in with Google on 213,670 live domains after removing for-sale and gambling pages. 64.47% of matched companies have 1 to 10 staff, and Real Estate is the largest industry at 7.57%. Large users include Uber, Pinterest, Atlassian, Indeed, Revolut, Canva and Coinbase.
How many customers does Google Sign-in have?
Google doesn't publish a count of sites. Our crawl finds Sign in with Google on 213,670 live domains in October 2026, 101,406 of them matched to a company. Counted raw it's 252,157, but 38,487 of those are domain-for-sale or gambling pages. Sites that show the button only on a login page we don't load are missed, so read it as a floor.
What is Google Sign-in's market share?
21.53% of Identity & Access (SSO/CIAM) on the cleaned count, 2nd of the 54 technologies we track there. Facebook Login is 1st with 617,483 domains, but that detection reads the Facebook JavaScript SDK and doesn't look for a login button, so it isn't a like-for-like comparison. Below Google, LinkedIn Sign-in has 22,412 domains and Apple Sign-in 10,499.
What are the best alternatives to Google Sign-in?
For a second social button, Apple, Microsoft, LinkedIn and Facebook each offer one. Apple's usually sits beside Google's instead of replacing it: 7,105 domains offer both, two thirds of Apple Sign-in's 10,499. To manage several methods in one place, look at Auth0 (6,095 domains), Clerk, NextAuth.js or Google's own Identity Platform, which treat Google as one provider among several.
Which countries use Google Sign-in the most?
The United States, with 27,993 matched companies, then the United Kingdom (8,448), India (7,453), Brazil (5,084), Canada (3,810), France (3,317) and Poland (3,068). India ranks above every European country, and Indian consumer sites on our list such as Myntra and Policybazaar offer it. These counts cover the 101,406 domains we matched to a company.
What size companies use Google Sign-in?
Mostly small ones. 64.47% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 22.78% have 11 to 50, so 87.25% have 50 staff or fewer. 1,204 companies have more than 1,000 staff, and they often put Google sign-in on one account or careers subdomain, such as id.atlassian.com or passport.amazon.jobs.
How old are companies that use Google Sign-in?
Among the Google Sign-in domains we could match to a company with a known founding date, the largest group was founded in the 2010s (41.69%), followed by the 2020s (28.33%). That matched subset is drawn from 101,406 companies and is not representative of all 213,670 detected domains. This suggests Google Sign-in is most popular among relatively young companies.
What is the ideal customer profile for Google Sign-in?

How much does sign in with Google cost?
Google's developer documentation for Sign in with Google lists no fee: a site loads Google's script with its own client ID. Costs come in only if you run sign-in through Google Cloud Identity Platform, which bills per monthly active user. Social sign-ins are free up to 50,000 a month there, then $0.0055 each up to 100,000. Checked 12 October 2026.
What does it mean when it says "sign in with Google"?
It means the site lets you log in with your Google Account instead of creating a new password. Once you consent, Google shares your profile information, such as your name, email address and profile picture, with that site. Google says data from Sign in with Google isn't used for ads. Our crawl finds the option on 213,670 live domains.
Is it better to create an account or sign in with Google?
It trades convenience for dependence on one account. You skip a password, and on return visits One Tap or automatic sign-in can log you straight in. But Google's documentation notes that suspending your Google Account stops sign-in to every site that uses Sign in with Google, so keep a second way in for accounts you can't afford to lose.
Is the Google Sign-In JavaScript library deprecated?
Yes. Google deprecated the Google Sign-In JavaScript library for web on 31 March 2023. OAuth client IDs created after 29 July 2022 can't use it, and no sunset date has been set. The replacement is Google Identity Services, loaded from accounts.google.com/gsi/client. Our detection counts both, including the old library's google-signin-client_id meta tag.
What is Google One Tap?
One Tap is the Sign in with Google prompt that appears on a page without a button click, offering a visitor the Google Account they're already signed in to. If the visitor closes it, Google hides it for two hours, then a day, a week and four weeks after repeated closes, unless the browser uses FedCM. It loads from the script our crawl detects.
Why is real estate the top industry for Google Sign-in?
Because of agent-website platforms. In a sample of 18 Real Estate sites running Google Sign-in, 17 were built on real-estate site platforms, including iHOUSEweb, Sierra Interactive, Placester and Brivity, which put Google sign-in on their property-search sign-up. The Brivity sites we checked carry only a placeholder sign-in tag, though, so not every one of those is a working button.
Do sites that offer Google sign-in also offer Apple sign-in?
Some do. 7,105 domains offer both today, about two thirds of the 10,499 domains where we find Apple Sign-in, so Apple's button mostly sits next to Google's. The reverse is much rarer: those 7,105 are about 3% of Google Sign-in's 213,670 domains. LinkedIn Sign-in is paired with Google on 2,321 domains, according to our crawl.
