Companies Using Fundraise Up
Our October 2026 crawl finds Fundraise Up's donation checkout on 5,422 live domains, and the organisations behind them are bigger than the ones on rival donation tools' profiles. Below is the list of companies that use Fundraise Up, mostly charities and other nonprofits, with size, country, sector and stack. Mount Sinai's giving site, the International Rescue Committee, TED, the Smithsonian and the American Heart Association are on it. Only 44.97% of matched organisations have 1 to 10 staff, against 75.32% on Donorbox's profile, and about half were founded before 2000.
Fundraise Up ranks 6th of the 54 technologies we track in Donations & Fundraising, with a 4.53% share. We count it only where its script loads, so every domain here runs the checkout. Domains aren't organisations, though. The 4,701 domains whose account code we could read belong to 3,093 Fundraise Up accounts, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes alone runs 212 of them, mostly local chapter sites.

Which Countries Use Fundraise Up the Most?
Which countries use Fundraise Up the most? The United States, with 2,583 of the 3,735 matched organisations (69.16%), then Canada (348) and the United Kingdom (270), with Australia (66), Ireland (31) and Germany (31) behind. The six English-speaking countries in the top 15 hold 88.81%. That's a wider spread than Network for Good's or Qgiv's bases, which are more than 95% American, and the Canadian and British names include CAMH, the Canadian Mental Health Association and Samaritans.
Share of the 3,735 Fundraise Up domains we matched to a company record — 68.9% of the 5,422 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Fundraise Up Market Share Among Donations & Fundraising
What is Fundraise Up's market share? 4.53% of Donations & Fundraising, 6th of the 54 technologies we track there, based on our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. Three of the five above it, Patreon, Ko-fi and Buy Me a Coffee, are counted largely from links to a creator's page. Among nonprofit donation tools it sits behind GiveWP (27.38%) and Donorbox (5.85%) and just ahead of Qgiv (3.8%). That isn't like-for-like: Fundraise Up counts only when its script runs, while Donorbox and Qgiv also count plain links to their pages.
Top Competitors by Market Share
Fundraise Up Customers by Company Size & Age
What size organisations use Fundraise Up? Small ones are the biggest group, but less so than for Donorbox or Qgiv. 44.97% of matched organisations with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 31.46% have 11 to 50, where Donorbox's profile shows 75.32% in the smallest band and Qgiv's 55.1%. 72 organisations have more than 1,000 staff, including Mount Sinai, Boston Medical Center, Volunteers of America and the International Rescue Committee.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
Fundraise Up launched in 2017, and most of its customers are much older. The 2010s are the largest founding decade (23.44%), yet 49.79% of matched organisations were founded before 2000 and 13.82% before 1960. Only 9.48% date from the 2020s, against 26.59% on Donorbox's profile. Founding dates on the list run back to the Episcopal Church (1783), the Smithsonian (1846) and the Salvation Army in the UK (1865).
What Industries Use Fundraise Up the Most?
Non-profit Organizations is the top label at 40.58%, LinkedIn's broad tag for charities. Add Non-profit Organization Management (7.16%), Civic and Social Organizations (6.53%), Philanthropic Fundraising Services (2.76%) and Fundraising (1.52%), and 58.55% of matched organisations carry a nonprofit label, based on our enriched company data. Much of the rest is nonprofit by another name: family services (3.6%), religious institutions (3.48%) and hospitals (2.7%), whose foundations take the gifts.
Hospitals using Fundraise Up usually run it on a foundation or giving site: give.mountsinai.org, development.bmc.org at Boston Medical Center, foundation.choc.org and Kennedy Krieger's foundation pages. International relief organisations on Fundraise Up include the International Rescue Committee, International Medical Corps, Partners In Health, TechnoServe and ALIMA. Faith-based groups using Fundraise Up include the Episcopal Church, Church World Service and Catholic Charities USA.
Fundraise Up Alternatives & Competitors
GiveWP leads this table with 32,785 domains, but it's a WordPress plugin, a different purchase from a hosted checkout. On Fundraise Up sites the rivals are more often a second tool than a replacement: 84 domains run Fundraise Up and GiveWP today, 46 run it with Qgiv and 21 with Donorbox. None of these pairs passes our switching tests, because most domains ever seen with both still have both: 84 of 95 for GiveWP, 46 of 69 for Qgiv and 21 of 29 for Donorbox.

Expert Analysis: Fundraise Up Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

I expected Fundraise Up's list to look like every other donation tool's: thousands of tiny charities and a handful of big names. It doesn't. Our October 2026 crawl finds its checkout on 5,422 live domains, 3,735 of them matched to an organisation, and those organisations are larger than the ones on Donorbox's, Qgiv's or Network for Good's profiles, and older than Donorbox's or Network for Good's. We only count Fundraise Up where its script loads, so every domain runs the checkout. Fewer organisations sit behind those domains than the count suggests.
Domains are not accounts
Fundraise Up's script address carries an account code, so I counted accounts. For 4,701 live domains the code was readable, and they belong to 3,093 accounts, about 1.5 domains each. Most accounts are simple: 2,435 run on a single domain. The rest are large charities with many sites. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes runs 212 domains on one account, mostly local chapter sites such as virginiafca.org and roanokefca.org. The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids has 66 alias domains, protecttexaskids.com and the like, that redirect to tobaccofreekids.org. Make-A-Wish has 42 chapter sites, and Best Friends Animal Society and Church World Service have 28 each. The 20 accounts with ten or more domains hold 565 domains, 12.0% of the ones we could read. I checked the ten largest, and each is one charity's own portfolio rather than a reseller's or another vendor's account.
Sales signal: deduplicate by account before you size this market. Fundraise Up says 3,500+ nonprofits use it, and our 3,093 accounts on readable pages land close to that, while the domain count runs about half as high again.
A usage line that also measures our coverage
The usage chart climbs from 4,360 domains in June 2026 to 5,422 in October. I wouldn't sell that as momentum. The set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and newly found ones added, and our detection widened over the same months, so part of the climb is us seeing more. Exits are easier to pin down. Since we began tracking Fundraise Up in March 2026, 313 domains dropped it from at least one hostname. 75 of those still load it on another hostname, which leaves 238 that lost it everywhere, about 4.4% of today's count in seven months.
"Fundraise Up's customers aren't the very small charities that fill Donorbox's list. Under half have ten staff or fewer, and half were founded before 2000." - Emma Davies, Data Analyst at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: treat the base as roughly 5,400 domains and 3,100 accounts, with a slow, steady exit rate. Timing a pitch off the June to October climb would be a mistake.
Who the customers are
Size first. 44.97% of matched organisations with a known size have 1 to 10 employees on LinkedIn, 31.46% have 11 to 50 and 14.88% have 51 to 200. The same smallest band is 75.32% on Donorbox's profile, 64.32% on Network for Good's and 55.1% on Qgiv's. At the top, 72 organisations have more than 1,000 staff. Age points the same way. The 2010s are the largest decade (23.44%), but 49.79% were founded before 2000 and 13.82% before 1960, while only 9.48% date from the 2020s. Large organisations usually put the checkout on a giving site rather than the main domain: give.mountsinai.org, giving.ted.com, mygiving.heart.org, support.unitedway.org.
Sales signal: these are established fundraising teams with a development office, a donor database and gifts to protect. The conversation is about conversion rates and CRM sync.
Where they are and what they do
The United States holds 2,583 of the 3,735 matched organisations (69.16%). Canada (348) and the United Kingdom (270) come next, and the six English-speaking countries in the top 15 add up to 88.81%. That's a wider spread than on the Network for Good and Qgiv profiles, both more than 95% American. By industry, 58.55% carry a nonprofit or fundraising label, with Non-profit Organizations alone at 40.58%. The clusters you can name are hospital foundations (Mount Sinai, Boston Medical Center, CHOC, Kennedy Krieger, Dayton Children's), international relief and health groups (the International Rescue Committee, International Medical Corps, Partners In Health, PSI, TechnoServe, ALIMA) and UN bodies (UNFPA, and WHO on its Eastern Mediterranean regional site).
Sales signal: Canada and the UK are real second markets, with CAMH, the Canadian Mental Health Association and Samaritans already on the checkout. Anyone selling into this base needs multi-currency and UK tax-relief answers ready.
Two tools at once
We publish no switching table for Fundraise Up, because none of its pairs passes our tests. We do see overlap. 84 domains run Fundraise Up and GiveWP today, 46 run it with Qgiv and 21 with Donorbox. Of the 95 domains we've ever seen with Fundraise Up and GiveWP together, 84 still have both; for Qgiv it's 46 of 69, and for Donorbox 21 of 29. That looks like an older form or an event tool left running beside the checkout, not a move from one to the other.
"Most domains that ever ran Fundraise Up next to GiveWP, Qgiv or Donorbox still run both. The second tool stays." - Emma Davies, Data Analyst at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: the domains running Fundraise Up beside Qgiv (46), GiveWP (84) or Donorbox (21) are paying for overlapping tools. A consolidation pitch starts there.
The stack around it
Across the 5,455 live domains in our stack base, WordPress runs on 54.61%, Elementor on 15.73%, Squarespace on 9.46% and Drupal on 6.75%. Google Analytics is on 83.96%. The CRM line separates this base from Network for Good's: Salesforce turns up on 7.83% of Fundraise Up domains against 1.03% of Network for Good's. Email tools are common too, MailChimp on 10.54% and SendGrid on 7.37%.
Sales signal: Fundraise Up connects to a CRM rather than replacing it, so CRM vendors and integration consultants have an opening on the 92.17% of sites where we see no Salesforce tag.
What Fundraise Up says, and what we see
Fundraise Up's about page (read 14 October 2026) says it was founded in 2017, is based in Brooklyn and has 3,500+ nonprofit users and 350+ staff. Its pricing page has no subscription: $0 upfront, no setup fees or contracts, and a share of each donation, which it says averages about 1% after donors cover fees, excluding payment processing. That model suits the base we see. A large charity with a busy giving page pays in proportion to what it raises, and the top of our list is full of those.
Sales signal: the case against Fundraise Up is cost at volume. A percentage fee that suits a mid-size charity grows with a hospital foundation's revenue, so the biggest names here are the ones to approach with a fixed-fee alternative.
Key takeaways
1. 5,422 live domains, 4.53% of Donations & Fundraising and 6th of 54, counted only where the checkout loads.
2. 4,701 readable domains belong to 3,093 accounts; the Fellowship of Christian Athletes alone has 212.
3. Bigger than the Donorbox, Qgiv or Network for Good bases: 44.97% have 1 to 10 staff, and 49.79% were founded before 2000.
4. 69.16% American, with Canada and the UK as real second markets.
5. Overlap with GiveWP, Qgiv and Donorbox is common; switching between them isn't measurable yet.
