Companies Using Vetstoria

I've spent most of my career on B2B growth, and vertical software is where a technographic list earns its keep, because the category tells you who the buyer is before you open a single row. Our October 2026 crawl finds Vetstoria's booking widget on 2,533 live domains, 2,137 of them matched to a company. A domain counts when a page loads a script from one of Vetstoria's hosts. Before writing a word, we read the raw HTML of all 2,544 live Vetstoria domains in our crawl to see who sits behind them. 2,291 practice sites showed the widget in their code, and they hold 2,069 distinct Vetstoria booking accounts. The accounts are real and almost all are single practices. The owners are another matter.

One owner, three in ten domains

736 domains (28.9%) are VetCor hospitals. They share one ASP.NET template, mostly hosted on AWS, and every one of them loads a tracking script from apps.vetcor.com. Each hospital keeps its own name, such as Alpine Animal Hospital or St. Francis Animal Hospital, and its own booking account; we counted 689 accounts across the 736 domains. VetCor says it has 900 locations in the US and Canada, and Vetstoria runs a dedicated VetCor page that talks about capacity data across 750+ hospitals. So this is one enterprise customer that accounts for nearly a third of the count, booked hospital by hospital.

Sales signal: if you sell to vet practices, nearly a third of this list answers to one head office. Sell to VetCor centrally, and work the other 1,808 domains as a separate market.

A flat line since September

The chart reads 1,902 domains in August, 2,555 in September and 2,533 in October. The August step is ours: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites leaving and newly found ones arriving, and our detection widened that month. Since then it's flat. 184 domains dropped Vetstoria on at least one hostname since 4 August, and 19 of those still run it on another, which leaves 165 full drops. That's 165 against a base of about 2,500.

Sales signal: don't sell a fast-growing segment. Sell to a stable installed base that rarely leaves, and time outreach to website rebuilds and group acquisitions.

The other groups

Five more groups appear in the site code. Alliance Animal Health has 137 domains whose structured data names it as the group they belong to; the group says it has more than 250 partner practices in 30 states. Linnaeus has 61 in the UK and Ireland, NVA 54 on its own nva.vetstoria.com booking host, VetPartners 52 on a shared WordPress theme and Lakefield Veterinary Group 48. With VetCor that's 1,088 of 2,544 domains (42.8%) in six groups, and smaller groups we didn't fingerprint would add more.

Sales signal: treat each group as one account with a known site count. For independent practices, filter out the six groups first; what's left is a list of owner-run clinics.

No generic schedulers next door

We don't publish a switching table for Vetstoria, because our tests found no rival it trades sites with. Among live Vetstoria domains, none runs Calendly or Acuity Scheduling, one runs Bookly and 5 run Otto, a veterinary workflow platform that sits 27th in the category with 925 domains. The real relationship is with PetDesk. Vetstoria's about page says the two joined forces in 2022, that the booking product is sold as PetDesk in North America, and that the brands are moving to the PetDesk name. In our crawl, 388 domains carry a "Powered by PetDesk" website credit and 39 more were built by WhiskerCloud, another member of the same family.

Sales signal: a practice whose website PetDesk built is likely to buy reminders, apps and payments from the same family. Competing vendors should go after the practices that run Vetstoria on a site somebody else built.

Who the practices are

58.48% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 38.28% have 11 to 50, but size here is per hospital. Age is the stronger signal: of 396 practices with a founding year, 54.03% were founded before 2000. The US holds 1,499 matched companies, 70.3% of those with a known country, then the UK (218) and Australia (174). Industry labels confirm the vertical: Veterinary Services, Veterinary, Research Services and Research together cover 89.7%, and the research labels are animal hospitals that LinkedIn filed oddly.

Sales signal: the UK list is long-established independent and group practices; the US list leans heavily on VetCor. Write separate sequences.

The stack around it

WordPress runs on 57.23% of the 2,544 domains, with the Divi theme on 19.34%, and roughly four in five of the 1,808 non-VetCor domains. Google Analytics is on 91.23%. GoDaddy (37.97%) and WP Engine (27.99%) are the main hosts. Invoca's call tracking is on 8.84% and Intercom on 6.96%. Consent tools are thin, which fits a US-heavy base; c15t is on 6.88% and OneTrust on 3.81%.

Sales signal: vet marketing agencies and call-tracking vendors have a clean target here. Practices that already measure calls with Invoca are the ones counting the bookings Vetstoria takes off the phone.

What it costs

Vetstoria's pricing page, checked on 14 October 2026, publishes no prices. It asks for a demo and promises one-time setup with onboarding help, no contracts and a full refund within 30 days. The company says more than 10,000 practices book over 900,000 appointments a month through it.
