Companies Using SEOAnt

SEOAnt's page needed more checking than I expected, because the product changed its name while we were counting it. A domain counts here when its page defines two variables, BlackUrlArray_SEOAnt and SEOAnt_toConsumableArray, which SEOAnt's Site Speed-Up writes at the top of the theme. That gives 6,839 live domains in our October 2026 crawl, 1,794 matched to a company. The rule is precise about what it sees: in a random sample of 149 readable stores, 144 carried the script. What it misses matters more.

A count of one feature

SEOAnt's help centre explains that Site Speed-Up works on a duplicated theme, while image compression, alt text and meta titles are saved to the store's own data. Only the first leaves code we can read. So a store that installed SEOAnt for its meta tags and never ran Speed-Up is invisible here. In our sample, 101 of the 149 stores (67.8%) also had the app's storefront block switched on, and 46 (30.9%) had the script without it. Because the script lives in the theme, it can outlast the app; our sample can't tell an uninstalled app from a switched-off block.

Sales signal: read this as a list of Shopify stores that cared enough about page speed to let an app rewrite their theme. That's a speed-conscious audience, which suits performance and CDN pitches as well as SEO ones.

Why the line is falling

The chart reads 4,500 in June, 7,511 in July, 7,370 in August, 7,128 in September and 6,839 in October. The June step is ours: the domains we crawl turn over every month and our detection widens. The fall since July isn't only stores leaving. The vendor now says "SEOAnt is now SEOWILL. Same product, new name", and newer copies of the script use SEOWILL-named variables. Two stores in our first random sample of 25 already carried only those. Then I opened 103 stores we'd recorded as dropping SEOAnt that were still on Shopify: 59 still ran the app in some form, 49 with its storefront block and 6 with the renamed script, and 44 showed no trace.

Sales signal: don't read the falling line as SEOAnt losing the market. The leavers we checked say the app is holding on better than our count suggests.

Who runs it

69.73% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 20.06% have 11 to 50. They're young: 31.39% were founded in the 2020s, against 28.84% on Avada SEO's profile. The named list is still varied. Zulily, Mor Furniture for Less, Big Agnes and Adnams run it on their main stores; StoneX runs it on a store that sells market reports. One oddity stood out. In our crawl, 47 of these stores had "American Express" as their page title. The three I opened had no title tag in the page head at all, so our crawler read the label of the footer's payment icon instead.

Sales signal: an installed SEO app doesn't mean the basics are done. A store with SEOAnt and no title tag is a five-minute audit win for an agency.

Where they are and what they sell

The United States has 544 matched companies, the United Kingdom 198 and India 152, ahead of Australia (118) and Canada (106). France has 100. Retail (17.57%) and Retail Apparel and Fashion (10.03%) lead, and Manufacturing is third at 4.39%: Wild Republic, Goodridge, Oukitel and Laifen all make what they sell. Three of the named electronics brands, Oukitel, ESR and Laifen, are based in Shenzhen.

Sales signal: SEOAnt's list skews further toward India, France and manufacturer-owned stores than Avada SEO's. For cross-border logistics or localisation tools, those two groups are the place to start.

Next to Avada SEO and Yoast

Only 45 domains run SEOAnt and Avada SEO today; 20 run it with Yoast SEO for Shopify and 13 with Yoast SEO. We've seen 82 domains carry SEOAnt and Avada SEO at some point. We don't publish any of these pairs as switching, and after the rename I wouldn't trust SEOAnt's side of a switch anyway: a store that looks like it left SEOAnt for a rival may be running both.

Sales signal: stores running two SEO apps are prime audit prospects. Check for duplicate structured data before you call.

The stack around it

Of the 6,684 live domains in our stack base, Judge.me runs on 40.41%, against 26.71% on Avada SEO domains, and Klaviyo Reviews on 26.32%. Klaviyo's email tag is on 29.43%, Omnisend on 6.57% and Mailchimp on 5.83%. Google Analytics is on 72.73% and Ahrefs Analytics on 1.75%. The Shopify App Store listing, checked on 14 October 2026, shows a Free plan, Pro at $29.99 a month or $287.90 a year and Premium at $59.99 a month or $575.90 a year, with a 7-day trial. It's rated 4.8 from 1,809 reviews, and the developer, CWILL, gives an address in Cary, North Carolina.

Sales signal: SEOAnt undercuts Avada SEO's $34.95 Pro plan. Price-led pitches won't move these stores; speed and AI content features might.
