Companies Using Jamf
Our records place a Jamf verification record on 8,866 domains verified with Jamf, resolving to 8,135 identifiable organisations. The companies using Jamf named below include Tata Consultancy Services, Deloitte, IBM, HSBC, Ford, Starbucks, Target, Pfizer and Kaiser Permanente, and the full list of companies using Jamf sits under the charts with the size, industry, country and age breakdowns behind it.
What we detect is a domain, not a device. Jamf is identified from a jamf-site-verification TXT record published in the domain's DNS, and that record proves one thing: an organisation holds a Jamf account and has verified this domain against it. It does not mean the website runs Jamf. Apple device management lives on laptops, iPads and iPhones inside a company and never touches a marketing page. Read 8,866 as a floor on organisations with a verified Jamf account.
The brands that use Jamf here are far larger than the base on a typical profile. 30.42% of the 8,050 organisations that report a headcount employ more than 1,000 people and only 8.02% employ ten or fewer. On Debian, published on this site, that second figure is 65.25%.
Education is the distinctive vertical, at 16.86% once its three labels are added together, against Software Development's 11.38% single-label lead. The top companies using Jamf in the table below are ordered by LinkedIn following, which is why 32 of the 34 employ more than 10,000 people. Jamf ranks 10th of the 43 technologies we track in Productivity & Collaboration on 2.35% share, though that rank is the least useful number on this page. Data current to our August 2026 rollup.

Jamf Usage Statistics
Jamf reads 7,282 domains on our June 2026 rollup, 8,583 in July and 8,866 in August. Three points cannot carry a growth rate, and this movement is coverage rather than adoption. The crawled domain set turns over every month as dead sites drop out and newly found ones come in, and the set of signals we can match keeps widening. Both of those move a count without a single organisation changing what it runs. The August figure, 8,866, is the one quoted at the top of this page.

Which Countries Use Jamf the Most?
Which countries use Jamf the most? The United States accounts for 4,770 of the 8,135 organisations we could locate, 58.64%, ahead of the United Kingdom on 621 (7.63%) and Australia on 389 (4.78%). Australia in third is the row worth pausing on: it sits above Germany's 370 and carries 1.64 times Canada's 237, which inverts the ordering we see on most profiles. English-speaking countries hold 6,073 organisations between them, 74.65% of the located base, based on our enriched company data.
Share of the 8,135 Jamf domains we matched to a company record — 91.8% of the 8,866 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Jamf Market Share Among Productivity & Collaboration
What is Jamf's market share? Jamf holds 2.35% of Productivity & Collaboration and ranks 10th of the 43 technologies in that category, on 8,866 domains. Atlassian leads on 133,558 domains and 35.46% share, with Zoom (11.76%), DocuSign (10.12%) and Kakao (9.29%) behind it. Read that ranking as filing rather than competition: the category holds video calls, e-signature, chat and device management side by side, and nothing ranked above Jamf in it manages a device. Atlassian is detected on 52.81% of these same domains, which is not what a competitor looks like. Based on our monthly crawl at TechnologyChecker.io.

Jamf Customers by Company Size & Age
Is Jamf only for large enterprises? Close to it, and this chart runs the opposite way to almost everything else we publish. 30.42% of the 8,050 organisations that report a headcount employ more than 1,000 people, 7.49% employ more than 10,000, and only 8.02% employ ten or fewer. On most profiles that last figure runs between 50% and 65%: Debian is 65.25%. The mass here sits in the middle and above, 51-200 at 21.94%, 1001-5000 at 18.43% and 201-500 at 16.46%.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
The 2010s lead at 26.51% of the 6,534 organisations with a founding year, which is ordinary. What sits behind it is not: Pre-1960 is second at 20.94%, ahead of the 2000s (17.55%) and three times the 2020s (6.96%). Add the decades up and 37.74% of this base was founded before 1990. The named list is where that lands. Pfizer dates to 1848, HSBC to 1865, AT&T to 1885, Roche to 1896, Deloitte to 1900, Ford to 1903, UPS to 1907 and IBM to 1911.
What Industries Use Jamf the Most?
Software Development takes the largest single label at 11.38% of the 7,923 organisations with a recorded industry, followed by Higher Education (7.67%), Financial Services (7.17%) and IT Services and IT Consulting (6.88%). The real leader is education, and the chart hides it across three rows: Higher Education, Primary and Secondary Education (5.38%) and Education Administration Programs (3.81%) come to 1,336 organisations, 16.86%, well clear of Software Development's single-label lead.
Education institutions using Jamf are the largest real cluster on this page: 1,336 of the 7,923 organisations with a recorded industry, 16.86%, once Higher Education (7.67%), Primary and Secondary Education (5.38%) and Education Administration Programs (3.81%) are added together. That is the iPad classroom, and it is the most distinctive thing in this data. Software companies using Jamf take the biggest single label at 11.38%, and adding IT Services and IT Consulting (6.88%) and Technology, Information and Internet (3.07%) brings the technology cluster to 21.33%. Financial services firms on Jamf sit at 7.17%, which is where HSBC and TD Bank come from, with Insurance a further 1.63% and State Farm in it, based on our enriched company data.
Jamf Alternatives & Competitors
Atlassian leads Productivity & Collaboration on 133,558 domains and 35.46% share, with Zoom second on 44,288 (11.76%) and DocuSign third on 38,114 (10.12%). None of them is an alternative to Jamf. Nobody chooses between a video call tool and an Apple device management platform, and this category is closer to a filing cabinet than a market: Slack (5.12%), Miro (4.62%) and Smartsheet (3.65%) sit in it too. Jamf's 2.35% and 10th place of 43 describe where it files, not who it beats.
Jamf Customer Migration
Are companies switching between Jamf and its neighbours? We publish a switching corridor only when the evidence supports one, and Jamf has not been measured for a corridor, so there is no migration table here. What we can report is turnover, and it is small. 82 domains have stopped publishing a Jamf verification record since mid-March, 50 of them inside the last 30 days and 77 inside the last 90. Against 8,866 live domains that is 0.9%, one of the lowest rates we measure. Only part of that is about Jamf: a record in DNS does not flicker the way a script on a page does, and a verification record routinely outlives the account that created it.
Tech Stack of Jamf-Powered Websites
Read this list in two halves. Google Tag Manager (79.03%), jQuery (72.49%) and Google Analytics (68.59%) are things the marketing site loads, and they tell you these are organisations with real, maintained websites, nothing more. Apple iCloud Mail (75.11%), Microsoft 365 (36.90%) and Google Workspace (30.96%) are declared by the domain itself, the same kind of signal as the Jamf record beside them. Only that second half says anything about the device estate, and the row worth reading is Microsoft 365 above Google Workspace: a large part of this base runs Microsoft mail alongside Apple hardware.

Expert Analysis: Jamf Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

A record in DNS is not software on a website
Jamf is identified from a jamf-site-verification TXT record published in the domain's DNS. That record does one thing: it proves an organisation holds a Jamf account and has verified this domain against it. It says nothing about how many Macs are enrolled, or whether any are. And it does not mean the website runs Jamf. Apple device management lives on laptops, iPads and iPhones inside a company. It never touches the marketing page you can see from outside.
So 8,866 is a floor on organisations with a verified Jamf account, and it is worth saying which way each error runs. The count misses every customer that never bothered to verify a domain, which pushes the real figure up. It keeps a few records nobody deleted when they cancelled, which pushes a small part of it the other way. If you want the mechanics of signals like this one, we wrote up the detection methods behind them. The record is public, so anyone can query the DNS for one of these domains and read it back.
One side effect is unusual enough to flag. We resolved 8,135 of the 8,866 domains to a company record, 91.8%. On a signal read from the page itself that number normally sits near 60%: Debian matches 59.7%. A domain carrying a corporate verification record is, by construction, a real organisation's real domain rather than a parked page or a hobby blog, so the enrichment lands almost every time. It is the one place where an account-level signal is cleaner than an install-level one.
The size curve runs backwards
This is the chart that made me stop. 30.42% of the 8,050 organisations that report a headcount employ more than 1,000 people, 7.49% employ more than 10,000, and only 8.02% employ ten or fewer. On a typical profile here that last figure runs between 50% and 65%. Debian is 65.25%. The mass sits at 51-200 (21.94%), 1001-5000 (18.43%) and 201-500 (16.46%).
That is what a centrally bought product looks like when you measure it at the domain rather than at the device. Nobody with four Macs buys a management platform. Somebody with four hundred has no real choice. Because the signal is an account rather than an install, what this page counts is the buying organisation, not the endpoint, which is the more useful unit anyway for anyone selling into the same IT budget.
Most technology profiles on this site are a picture of small companies. This one is a picture of IT departments.
Education is the biggest thing here, and the chart hides it
Software Development takes the largest single industry label at 11.38% of the 7,923 organisations with a recorded industry. Education takes three labels and beats it. Higher Education at 7.67%, Primary and Secondary Education at 5.38% and Education Administration Programs at 3.81% come to 1,336 organisations, 16.86%. Split across three rows, it never appears at the top of the bar chart, which is exactly the kind of thing a ranked list is bad at showing.
The country table points the same way. Australia is third on 389 organisations, above Germany's 370 and 1.64 times Canada's 237. That ordering shows up on very few profiles we publish, and on this one it sits next to a 16.86% education share. Financial Services (7.17%) and IT Services and IT Consulting (6.88%) fill out the top, and adding Software Development, IT Services and Technology, Information and Internet gives a technology cluster of 21.33%.
Old institutions, large fleets
The age distribution reads the same way as the size one. The 2010s lead at 26.51% of the 6,534 organisations with a founding year, which is ordinary, but Pre-1960 is second at 20.94% and 37.74% of this base was founded before 1990. Only 6.96% were founded in the 2020s.
The named list makes that concrete. Pfizer dates to 1848, HSBC to 1865, AT&T to 1885, Roche to 1896, Deloitte to 1900, Ford to 1903, UPS to 1907 and IBM to 1911. Thirty-two of the 34 organisations named on this page employ more than 10,000 people, and ten of them are IT services or consulting firms: Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Cognizant, IBM, Wipro, Concentrix, Tech Mahindra, LTIMindtree, Deloitte and Genpact. Those firms manage other organisations' Mac fleets for a living, which is a different reason to hold an account from the one Starbucks or Target has, and worth separating before anyone treats the list as a set of lookalikes.
Why there is no migration table
We publish a switching corridor only when the evidence supports one, and Jamf has not been measured for a corridor. The movement we can report is turnover, and it is small. 82 domains have stopped publishing a Jamf verification record since mid-March, 50 of them inside the last 30 days and 77 inside the last 90. Against 8,866 live domains that is 0.9%, one of the lowest rates on anything we track.
Do not read it as a retention figure. A DNS record does not flicker the way a script on a page does, so a low rate is partly a property of where the signal lives rather than a statement about the product. The rest is inertia. Cancelling a subscription and tidying up a TXT record are two different jobs, and only one of them has a deadline attached.
A churn rate of 0.9% is not evidence that nobody leaves. It is evidence that nobody tidies up their DNS.
What the stack does and does not tell you
Read the co-occurrence list in two halves. Google Tag Manager at 79.03%, jQuery at 72.49% and Google Analytics at 68.59% are things the marketing site loads. They confirm these are organisations with real, maintained websites and nothing beyond that. None of them can tell you anything about a laptop.
The other half is declared by the domain itself, the same kind of signal as the Jamf record sitting beside it. Apple iCloud Mail appears on 75.11%, Microsoft 365 on 36.90% and Google Workspace on 30.96%. An Apple record in three quarters of these zones is the expected result for a base defined by Apple device management. The more interesting row is Microsoft 365 sitting above Google Workspace, because a large part of this base runs Microsoft mail alongside Apple hardware, which is the mixed estate Jamf exists to sit in.
What to take from this
Jamf files 10th of the 43 technologies in our Productivity & Collaboration category on 2.35% share, behind Zoom, DocuSign and Slack, and that ranking is the least useful number on the page. Nothing above it manages a device. The rank describes a filing cabinet, not a market.
What the data does support is narrower and more useful. These 8,866 domains belong to organisations that set Jamf up against a domain they own. They skew large, they skew old, and education is 16.86% of them. If you sell into this base, the two segments worth separating are the education cluster and the IT services firms, because both buy for reasons the rest of the list does not share. The number to argue with is 8,866, and the honest thing to say about it is that the real count of Jamf customers is higher and a handful of these records outlived the account that created them. TechnologyChecker.io resolves it against 8,135 identified organisations and refreshes it every month.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses Jamf?
Our records place a Jamf verification record on 8,866 domains, resolving to 8,135 identifiable organisations. Named ones include Tata Consultancy Services, Deloitte, IBM, HSBC, Ford, Starbucks, Target and Pfizer. The base is large and institutional: 30.42% of matched organisations employ more than 1,000 people, and education accounts for 16.86% once its three industry labels are added together.
How many customers does Jamf have?
We find a Jamf verification record on 8,866 domains as of our August 2026 rollup, and 8,135 of those resolve to a company record. Counts are domains, not licences or devices. Treat the figure as a floor on organisations with a verified Jamf account: a customer that never verified a domain is invisible from outside, so the true number is higher.
What is Jamf's market share?
Jamf holds 2.35% of our Productivity & Collaboration category and ranks 10th of the 43 technologies in it, on 8,866 domains. Atlassian leads with 133,558 domains and 35.46%. Read the rank as filing rather than competition: the category puts video calls, e-signature, chat and device management side by side, and nothing ranked above Jamf manages a device.
What are the best alternatives to Jamf?
Our category data ranks Atlassian (35.46%), Zoom (11.76%), DocuSign (10.12%) and Kakao (9.29%) above Jamf, but none of them is an alternative to it. You do not choose between a video call tool and an Apple device management platform. Nothing ranked above Jamf in Productivity & Collaboration manages a device, so this page cannot tell you what Jamf loses deals to.
Which countries use Jamf the most?
The United States accounts for 4,770 of the 8,135 organisations we could locate, 58.64%, ahead of the United Kingdom on 621 (7.63%) and Australia on 389 (4.78%). Australia sits above Germany's 370 and carries 1.64 times Canada's 237, which inverts the ordering on most profiles. English-speaking countries hold 6,073 organisations between them, 74.65%.
What size companies use Jamf?
Unusually large ones. 30.42% of the 8,050 organisations that report a headcount employ more than 1,000 people and 7.49% employ more than 10,000, while only 8.02% employ ten or fewer. On most profiles that last figure runs between 50% and 65%; Debian is 65.25%. The mass sits at 51-200 (21.94%) and 1001-5000 (18.43%).
How old are companies that use Jamf?
The 2010s lead at 26.51% of the 6,534 organisations with a founding year, but Pre-1960 is second at 20.94% and only 6.96% were founded in the 2020s. In total 37.74% of this base predates 1990. Pfizer dates to 1848, HSBC to 1865, AT&T to 1885, Roche to 1896, Deloitte to 1900 and IBM to 1911.
What is the ideal customer profile for Jamf?
An established organisation with real IT staff. The most common size band is 51-200, though 30.42% employ more than 1,000 and 7.49% more than 10,000. Most sit in the United States, the United Kingdom or Australia. Education is the standout vertical at 16.86%, followed by software development (11.38%) and financial services (7.17%).
Does a Jamf detection mean the website runs Jamf?
No, and that matters more here than on most pages. Jamf is identified from a jamf-site-verification TXT record in the domain's DNS. The record proves an organisation holds a Jamf account and has verified this domain against it. Apple device management runs on laptops and iPads inside the company; it never touches the website itself.
Why is education such a large share of Jamf's base?
Jamf manages Apple hardware, and the iPad classroom is where a lot of that hardware went. Education is 16.86% of the 7,923 organisations with a recorded industry once its three labels are added: Higher Education 7.67%, Primary and Secondary Education 5.38%, Education Administration Programs 3.81%. Split across three rows, it never tops the industry chart.
Why is Jamf's churn rate so low?
82 domains have stopped publishing a Jamf verification record since mid-March, 50 of them in the last 30 days. Against 8,866 live domains that is 0.9%, one of the lowest rates we measure. Two things cause it and only one is about Jamf: a DNS record does not flicker the way a page script does, and nobody deletes a verification record when they cancel.
How many Jamf-verified domains match to a company record?
8,135 of the 8,866, which is 91.8%. That is far above what a page-level signal returns: Debian matches 59.7%. A domain carrying a corporate verification record is by construction a real organisation's real domain rather than a parked page or a hobby blog, so almost every one of them resolves to a company we can name.
