Companies Using Zakeke
Our October 2026 crawl finds Zakeke on 2,795 live domains. Most are small shops selling things a buyer puts a name, photo or logo on: printed clothing, engraved gifts, signs, bottles. Below is the list of companies that use Zakeke, with size, country, industry and the tools each store runs beside it. It includes Zippo, the Swiss bottle maker SIGG, the London handbag label Anya Hindmarch and the Danish cartridge maker Ortofon.
Zakeke sells a 2D customiser, a 3D configurator and virtual try-on, and it isn't a Shopify-only app: Shopify runs on 77.93% of Zakeke domains and WooCommerce on 17.22%. It ranks 9th of the 59 tools we track in Product Customization, with 1.77%. That table is led by Printful, a print-on-demand fulfilment service rather than a customiser, so read the share against Teeinblue, Kickflip and Customily, and Zakeke has the most domains of the four.

From July to October the line rose by 148 domains, about 5.6%. Since we began tracking Zakeke on 16 March 2026, 658 domains have dropped it, and 55 of those still run it on another hostname.

Which Countries Use Zakeke the Most?
Which countries use Zakeke the most? The United States, with 344 matched companies, then the United Kingdom (88), Germany (60), France (54), Australia (46), and Italy and Canada (41 each). Add up the ten European countries in the top 15 and you get 358 companies, more than the American total. Italy, where Zakeke is based, is sixth. These counts cover the 991 Zakeke domains we matched to a company.
Share of the 991 Zakeke domains we matched to a company record — 35.5% of the 2,795 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Zakeke Market Share Among Product Customization
What is Zakeke's market share? 1.77% of Product Customization, 9th of the 59 tools we track there, based on our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. The table isn't like for like. Printful leads with 93,857 domains and 59.5%, but it prints and ships orders rather than letting shoppers design them, and 191 Zakeke domains run Printful beside Zakeke. Against the visual customisers, Zakeke's 2,795 domains put it 198 ahead of Teeinblue (2,597), with Kickflip (1,343) and Customily (1,213) further back.
Top Competitors by Market Share
Zakeke Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use Zakeke? Small ones. 64.67% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 25.51% have 11 to 50, so 90.18% have 50 staff or fewer. Only 11 have more than 500. The bigger names, Zippo, ZAGG and SIGG among them, sell personalised versions of products they already make, so Zakeke usually covers part of the catalogue rather than all of it.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
The largest group of matched companies was founded in the 2010s (41.56%), then the 2020s (22.32%) and the 2000s (15.61%). The tail is old for a Shopify app: 27 companies were founded before 1960, including SIGG (1908), Ortofon (1918), the German pen maker Senator (1920) and Zippo (1932).
What Industries Use Zakeke the Most?
Retail leads at 14.75%, then Printing Services and Retail Apparel and Fashion (8.27% each), Manufacturing (4.92%) and Sporting Goods Manufacturing (4.68%), based on our enriched company data. Printing Services plus Advertising Services (3.96%, the LinkedIn label that covers promotional-products firms) come to 12.23%: print shops using Zakeke as a web-to-print designer. Most of the rest are brands adding a name or logo to their own goods.
Print shops using Zakeke include DuraMark Technologies, CPC Signs and the Spanish print-media supplier Endutex. Drinkware brands on Zakeke include SIGG, Cirkul, Mizu and HydroJug, which runs it on its wholesale site. Sporting goods companies using Zakeke include Perform Better, Darts Corner and Balleristo, a customer Zakeke also features in its own success stories.
Zakeke Alternatives & Competitors
Teeinblue, Kickflip and Customily are the like-for-like rivals here; Printful isn't. 191 Zakeke domains also run Printful, because Printful prints and ships what the shopper designs. Against Teeinblue (2,597 domains), Zakeke reaches more platforms: we see Teeinblue only on Shopify stores. Kickflip shares 39 domains with Zakeke today and Customily 37. None of these pairs passes our switching tests, because most domains ever seen with both still run both.

Expert Analysis: Zakeke Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

I pulled Zakeke out of our October 2026 crawl to answer a seller's question: who actually pays for a product customiser? A domain counts here when its pages load Zakeke's storefront script from portal.zakeke.com, or create the zakekeBoot object that script sets up. On 100 random live domains the test held up. 92 loaded Zakeke, two showed a Shopify password page, three no longer resolved, one blocked us and two showed no trace of it. That gives 2,795 live domains, 991 of them matched to a company, 9th of 59 in Product Customization.
Domains and stores
On Shopify, Zakeke's script carries the store it belongs to, so we can count accounts as well as domains. Across 2,010 domains where we could read it there are 1,506 stores, about 1.3 domains each. The biggest is a floor-marking tape maker on 20 domains, then a Romanian furniture seller on 13 and a costume retailer's 12 country sites. No single store is 1% of the count. Forty-three domains still call Zakeke's older address on www.zakeke.com, which redirects to the current one, so those stores still run the customiser. Only 27 domains carry a closed-store or error-page title, under 1% of the set.
Sales signal: dedupe by store before you count accounts. Most rows are one store on one domain, but multi-country sellers appear many times.
Flat since July
The chart reads 2,033 in June, 2,647 in July, 2,716 in August, 2,749 in September and 2,795 in October. The June step is our side of the ledger: the domains we crawl turn over every month as dead sites drop out and new ones come in, and the signals we detect Zakeke with widened over the summer. After July the line rose 148 domains, about 5.6% in three months. 658 domains dropped Zakeke after tracking began on 16 March 2026, and 55 of them still run it on another hostname.
"Zakeke's buyers are print shops and brands with something to engrave, and more of the matched ones sit in Europe than in the United States." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: treat Zakeke as a steady pool of about 2,800 domains growing slowly. Nothing here supports selling it internally as a breakout segment.
Who the customers are
64.67% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 25.51% have 11 to 50. That's a small-business product, and the plans show it: Starter covers 10 published customisable products. The other end of the list is older than you'd expect from a Shopify app. 27 companies were founded before 1960, among them SIGG (1908), Ortofon (1918), Senator (1920) and Zippo (1932), and ZAGG, Cirkul, Anya Hindmarch and Coverking are on the list too. Zakeke's success stories name Belforti, Balleristo, La Fabrique à Sachets and Carbotti, and all four load Zakeke in our crawl, as do CPC Signs and Custom Cones USA.
Sales signal: at an established brand the buyer is the e-commerce lead who owns the personalised line, usually a handful of products. At a print shop the owner is the buyer, and Zakeke is effectively the storefront.
Print shops and a European tilt
Retail leads the industry chart at 14.75%, then Printing Services and Retail Apparel and Fashion at 8.27% each. Add Advertising Services (3.96%), the LinkedIn label promotional-products firms tend to carry, and 12.23% are print and promo businesses selling web-to-print. The country split holds a surprise. The United States has 344 matched companies, but the ten European countries in our top 15 add up to 358, led by the United Kingdom (88), Germany (60) and France (54). Italy, Zakeke's home, has 41.
Sales signal: print-on-demand suppliers, blank-goods wholesalers and print-file tools should start with the Printing Services and Advertising Services rows. For European payment, tax or shipping tools, 36% of matched Zakeke companies are European.
Overlap, not switching
Our switching tests found no corridor worth publishing, only overlaps. 191 domains run Zakeke and Printful today, out of 255 ever seen with both, and that's a workflow: Zakeke captures the design, Printful prints and ships it. Kickflip shares 39 domains with Zakeke now and 65 ever; Customily 37 and 54. These are small numbers, and most of those domains still run both tools, so I wouldn't call any of it a trend.
"About one live Zakeke domain in 14 also runs Printful, because that's how a print-on-demand order gets from the product page to the printer." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: fulfilment partners and print networks are a natural channel into this base. A rival customiser should expect to sell a replacement, not an add-on, since few stores keep two.
The stack around it
Of the 2,741 live domains we profile, Shopify runs on 77.93%, WooCommerce on 17.22% and BigCommerce on 4.74%. Judge.me (20.65%) leads the review apps, Klaviyo sends email on 24.63% and Mailchimp on 9.67%. Google Analytics is on 65.05%. Consent tools are thin on the ground, with Pandectes the most common at 3.9%.
Sales signal: the WooCommerce slice, about one domain in six, is what sets this list apart. Agencies and plugins that serve WooCommerce print shops will find a pocket here that Shopify-only customisers can't reach.
What it costs
Zakeke's pricing page (15 October 2026) lists Starter at $59 a month billed annually, Grow at $110 and Scale at $255, or $69.90, $129.90 and $299.90 month to month. They cover 10, 50 and 100 published products, and each adds a fee on every customised product sold: 1.9%, 1.7% and 1.5%. Enterprise is quoted. The site claims more than 25,000 subscribers, far above the 2,795 domains we see running the storefront script, and Etsy and Amazon sellers, which Zakeke also connects to, wouldn't show up in a website crawl.
Sales signal: the per-sale fee makes Zakeke's cost rise with a store's custom-order revenue. High-volume print shops are the ones most likely to price an alternative.

2. About 1.3 domains per Shopify store, and no store near 1% of the count.
3. Small buyers, 90.18% with 50 staff or fewer, plus 27 companies founded before 1960.
4. Print and promo businesses are 12.23% of matched companies, and European companies outnumber American ones.

How to use this list
Filter by industry first, because print shops and brands want different pitches, then dedupe by store. For the full list of 2,795 Zakeke domains with company, size and stack data, explore TechnologyChecker.io. Our Shopify analysis covers the store base most of these shops sit on.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses Zakeke?
Mostly small online shops that sell personalised products, plus some long-established brands. Our October 2026 crawl finds Zakeke on 2,795 live domains, and 90.18% of matched companies with a known size have 50 or fewer staff. Named Zakeke customers include Zippo, SIGG, ZAGG, Anya Hindmarch and Ortofon, and print shops such as DuraMark Technologies and CPC Signs.
How many customers does Zakeke have?
Zakeke's website says it serves more than 25,000 companies. Our October 2026 crawl finds its storefront script live on 2,795 domains, 991 of them matched to a company. On Shopify the script names its store, and 2,010 such domains belong to 1,506 stores. Zakeke also connects to Etsy and Amazon, and sellers there leave no script on a website for us to detect.
What is Zakeke's market share?
1.77% of Product Customization, 9th of the 59 tools we track, on 2,795 domains. Printful holds 59.5% of that table, but it is a print-on-demand fulfilment service, not a customiser. Among the visual customisers in the table, Zakeke has the most domains: 198 more than Teeinblue (2,597), with Kickflip (1,343) and Customily (1,213) behind, based on our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io.
What are the best alternatives to Zakeke?
For a Shopify print-on-demand store, Teeinblue is the closest by size, at 2,597 domains in our crawl, and Customily (1,213) is another personalisation app. Kickflip (1,343) is a visual customiser and configurator. Teeinblue launched a WooCommerce version, Boundless, in 2025, but every Teeinblue domain we detect is a Shopify store. Few stores run two at once: Kickflip shares 39 domains with Zakeke and Customily 37.
Which countries use Zakeke the most?
The United States, with 344 matched companies, then the United Kingdom (88), Germany (60), France (54), Australia (46), and Italy and Canada (41 each). The ten European countries in our top 15 add up to 358 companies, more than the United States. Italy, where Zakeke is based, is sixth. The counts cover the 991 Zakeke domains we matched to a company.
What size companies use Zakeke?
Mostly very small ones. 64.67% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 25.51% have 11 to 50, so 90.18% have 50 or fewer. Just 11 have more than 500 staff. The plans fit that buyer: they cap how many customisable products you can publish, from 10 on Starter to 100 on Scale.
How old are companies that use Zakeke?
Among the Zakeke domains we could match to a company with a known founding date, the largest group was founded in the 2010s (41.56%), followed by the 2020s (22.32%). That matched subset is drawn from 991 companies and is not representative of all 2,795 detected domains. This suggests Zakeke is most popular among relatively young companies.
What is the ideal customer profile for Zakeke?
The ideal Zakeke customer is: Company Size: 1-10 employees (64.67%), then 11-50, Location: United States, then UK, Germany, France, Founded: 2010-2019, with a pre-1960 tail, Industry: Retail, printing services, apparel, Store platform: Shopify, or WooCommerce (17.22%) — based on our analysis of 991 enriched companies at TechnologyChecker.io.
How much does Zakeke cost?
Zakeke's pricing page lists Starter at $59 a month billed annually ($69.90 monthly) for 10 published products, Grow at $110 ($129.90) for 50 and Scale at $255 ($299.90) for 100. Each plan adds a fee on every customised product sold: 1.9%, 1.7% and 1.5%. Enterprise is quoted. There's a 14-day free trial with no card. Checked 15 October 2026.
What is Zakeke used for?
Zakeke lets shoppers design a product on the store's own product page, adding text, images or colours with a live preview, and hands the merchant a print-ready file. It also sells a 3D configurator, an AR viewer and virtual try-on. In our crawl the users are print shops, promotional-products firms and brands offering engraving or custom versions of their own goods.
Is Zakeke free?
Not for a live store. Zakeke's Shopify listing makes it free only on development stores, which are for building and testing. Paid plans start at $59 a month billed annually, or $69.90 monthly, plus a 1.9% fee on each customised product sold. Every plan has a 14-day free trial, and Zakeke says the fee isn't charged during it. Checked 15 October 2026.
Does Zakeke work with WooCommerce?
Yes. Zakeke publishes a WooCommerce plugin on WordPress.org, and WooCommerce runs on 17.22% of the 2,741 live Zakeke domains we profile, against 77.93% for Shopify and 4.74% for BigCommerce. That WooCommerce share sets it apart from Teeinblue, its nearest rival by domains, which we only ever see on Shopify stores.
Is there a product configurator app available for Shopify?
Yes, and Zakeke is the most-detected visual customiser in our Product Customization table, on 2,795 domains in October 2026, 77.93% of them Shopify stores. Its plans include a 3D configurator for products with many parts and colours, beside the 2D customiser. Kickflip (1,343 domains) is another configurator, while Teeinblue (2,597) focuses on personalised print products.
Zakeke vs Customily: which do stores use more?
Zakeke, by about 2.3 to 1. Our October 2026 crawl finds Zakeke on 2,795 domains and Customily on 1,213, and only 37 domains run both today. Zakeke also has a WooCommerce base, 17.22% of its domains, and sells a 3D configurator. Zakeke's own comparison page covers the features; our data shows who actually runs each one on a live store.
Do Zakeke stores also use Printful?
Some do. 191 live Zakeke domains also run Printful, and 255 have run both at some point since March 2026. That's a pairing: Zakeke captures the customer's design and Printful prints and ships the order. Printful leads our Product Customization table with 93,857 domains, but as a fulfilment service it isn't a like-for-like rival.
How many stores have stopped using Zakeke?
658 domains have dropped Zakeke since we began tracking it on 16 March 2026, against 2,795 live in October. That isn't a lifetime figure, and it overstates real churn: 55 of those domains still run Zakeke on another hostname. In a sample of 100 live Zakeke domains, two showed a store password page and three no longer resolved.
