Companies Using Phenom
Our live crawl finds Phenom on 444 domains, and 331 of them, 74.55%, resolve to an identifiable organisation. The companies using Phenom named further down include DHL Express, Allianz, CVS Health, Roche, RTX, United Airlines, RBC, U.S. Bank, Thermo Fisher Scientific and Philips. Phenom sells a talent experience platform: career site, talent CRM, conversational assistant and internal mobility in one product.
What puts a domain on this list is a script loaded from cdn.phenompeople.com, so the count reads the Phenom front end serving a page. Where that page sits matters more here than on most profiles. 89.1% of these detections are on a careers host and 69.1% on a hostname other than the apex domain, against 15.0% non-apex for Amazon ALB and 3.5% for Nginx. This page is not measuring corporate websites. It is measuring the hiring front end of large employers, on careers.dhl.com, jobs.cvshealth.com, careers.roche.com and their equivalents.
That deployment surface explains the size distribution. 121 of the 444 domains, 27.25%, belong to companies with 8,000 or more employees, and among the 330 matched companies that report a headcount, 141, 42.73%, employ more than 10,000. The same band on Amazon ALB is 1.61%. Location concentrates the same way: 242 of the 328 companies we could place, 73.78%, are in the United States, and Hospitals and Health Care leads the industry mix at 16.11% of the 329 companies with a recorded industry.
Phenom ranks 19th of the 77 technologies we track in HR & Recruitment on 0.72% share, a category whose leading rows are counted on ordinary company domains rather than careers hosts, so read the ranking as a count of detected domains and nothing more. Radancy's TalentBrew is the closest neighbour by deployment shape. Below you can filter the websites using Phenom by size, country, industry and co-installed technology. Phenom Usage Statistics
Phenom reads 298 domains on our June 2026 rollup, 401 in July and 444 in August. Three points cannot carry a growth rate, and this movement is coverage rather than adoption. Across the whole crawl, active detections went from 321.0M in June to 352.2M in August, a 9.7% widening of what we can see, and a careers host in particular only enters the set once we crawl something that links to it. A rising line here means we are seeing more of a population, not watching that population grow. The August figure, 444, is the one quoted at the top of this page.

Which Countries Use Phenom the Most?
Which countries use Phenom the most? The United States holds 242 of the 328 companies we could place, 73.78%, and no other country reaches 14. Canada and Germany tie for second on 13 each (3.96%), followed by the United Kingdom on 12 (3.66%), Switzerland on 7 (2.13%), India and Australia on 6 each (1.83%) and the United Arab Emirates on 4 (1.22%). Those eight countries cover 303 of the 328, 92.38%, so everything outside them is a scatter of ones and twos. The named detections match the shape: DHL Express and Allianz in Germany, Roche and Kuehne + Nagel in Switzerland, RBC, BMO, Circle K and Four Seasons in Canada, and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company on jobs.adnoc.ae for the United Arab Emirates.
Share of the 331 Phenom domains we matched to a company record — 74.5% of the 444 we detect. Top 8 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Phenom Market Share Among HR & Recruitment
What is Phenom's market share? Phenom holds 0.72% of HR & Recruitment and ranks 19th of the 77 technologies in that category, on 444 domains. The rows above it are counted on a different surface, which is the part to understand before using the number. WP Job Openings leads on 19,192 domains and 31.1% as a WordPress plugin installed on ordinary company sites, with Rippling (7,983 domains, 12.94%), BambooHR (5,633, 9.13%), Paylocity (4,002, 6.48%) and Teamtailor (3,600, 5.83%) behind it. Phenom is detected on careers hosts 89.1% of the time, and on employers where 42.73% of the matched companies exceed 10,000 staff. So this is a share of the domains we detect running something in HR & Recruitment, not a share of spending, seats or hires.
Top Competitors by Market Share
Phenom Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use Phenom? This is the least ordinary distribution on the page. 141 of the 330 matched companies that report a headcount, 42.73%, employ more than 10,000 people, and 280 of them, 84.85%, employ more than 1,000. Only 21 companies, 6.36%, employ 200 or fewer, and 13 employ 50 or fewer. For scale, the 10,001+ band is 1.61% of the companies on Amazon ALB. Counted on domains rather than companies, 121 of the 444, 27.25%, belong to organisations with 8,000 or more employees. A hosted careers front end gets bought by employers whose hiring volume justifies running one, and the distribution says exactly that with no interpretation needed.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
Pre-1960 leads at 35.82% of the 268 companies with a founding year, ahead of the 2010s at 12.69% and the 1990s at 11.19%. Add the decades in between and 200 of the 268, 74.63%, were founded before 2000, against 41, 15.30%, founded since 2010. The named list carries State Street at 1792, BMO at 1817, Bureau Veritas at 1828, U.S. Bank at 1863, RBC at 1864, Allianz and Kuehne + Nagel at 1890, Philips at 1891 and Roche at 1896. One caution on the recent buckets: a founding year comes from the company record, and records for restructured groups can carry a later date. PNC is recorded at 2014 and Ecolab at 2018, which are dates on the record rather than the age of the business.
What Industries Use Phenom the Most?
Hospitals and Health Care leads the Phenom industry mix at 16.11% of the 329 companies with a recorded industry, more than twice Retail in second at 6.99%, with Financial Services third at 5.78%. Grouping the related labels makes the concentration clearer: health care, pharmaceutical manufacturing and medical equipment manufacturing together are 72 companies, 21.88%, while financial services, insurance and banking are 36, 10.94%. The ten labels shown come to 158 companies, 48.02%, and the rest is spread thinly across dozens of other industries. This is a vertical distribution with a long tail rather than a flat one.
Health systems using Phenom are the largest single block at 16.11% of the 329 companies with a recorded industry, and the named detections are the employers you would expect to hire continuously: CVS Health on jobs.cvshealth.com, Ascension on jobs.ascension.org, GE Healthcare on careers.gehealthcare.com, LabCorp on careers.labcorp.com and Philips on www.careers.philips.com. Add Pharmaceutical Manufacturing at 3.34%, where Merck Sharp & Dohme sits on jobs.msd.com, and Medical Equipment Manufacturing at 2.43%, where Danaher sits on jobs.danaher.com, and the health cluster reaches 21.88%. Retail brands using Phenom take 6.99%, with Family Dollar, Kohl's, TJX and Circle K each found on a careers or jobs hostname. Banks and insurers using Phenom come to 10.94% across three labels, including RBC, U.S. Bank, BMO, PNC, State Street and Allianz. The row worth stopping on is Staffing and Recruiting at 2.43%: staffing firms appear here as employers in their own right, though a detection on a careers host cannot tell you whether the roles behind it are internal or for placement.
Phenom Alternatives & Competitors
HR & Recruitment is a category whose members are counted on different surfaces, so this table needs reading twice. By domains, WP Job Openings leads on 19,192 and 31.1%, and it is a WordPress plugin rather than a purchased product, which puts it in a different column from everything else. Rippling (7,983 domains, 12.94%), BambooHR (5,633, 9.13%), Paylocity (4,002, 6.48%) and Teamtailor (3,600, 5.83%) are HR and hiring suites detected on company websites, so their footprint counts a broad base of small and mid-sized employers. Phenom's 444 domains sit on careers hosts 89.1% of the time, which is why the share is small and the enterprise weighting is not: 42.73% of the 330 matched companies that report a headcount employ more than 10,000. The neighbours measured the same way as Phenom are not in this top five. They are TalentBrew, at 85.4% careers hosts, and Paradox, at 63.9%.
| Technology | Domains | Market Share |
|---|---|---|
WP Job Openings | 19,192 | 31.1% |
Rippling | 7,983 | 12.94% |
BambooHR | 5,633 | 9.13% |
Paylocity | 4,002 | 6.48% |
Teamtailor | 3,600 | 5.83% |
Phenom Customer Migration
There is no migration table here because there is nothing worth publishing in one. Every corridor we measured between Phenom and the other technologies in HR & Recruitment came back at seven domains or fewer, and most came back at one. A single domain is a coincidence, not a corridor, and printing it as a switching trend is the usual way a table like this turns into fiction. The reason the corridors are that thin is the churn count itself: 5 domains have dropped Phenom since we began tracking in March 2026, 1.13% of the 444 counted here. There is not enough movement for a destination to be visible. Read the empty section as a measurement that came back too small to report, not as a measurement nobody ran.
Tech Stack of Phenom-Powered Websites
The co-occurrence table on this page is mostly Phenom's own stack rather than a set of choices its customers made. Bootstrap appears on 99.78% of Phenom domains, Day.js on 99.56% and Vue.js on 98.91%. Three unrelated layers at effectively the same number is not what thousands of separate procurement decisions look like. It is what a hosted product looks like when it ships one front end to every tenant. The rows below repeat it: Play, the Scala web framework, at 78.43%, RequireJS at 69.72%, Amazon CloudFront at 75.82% and Amazon Web Services at 70.15%. Phenom serves a Vue front end from a Play backend on AWS, and every employer on this list inherits that. Aurelia at 62.53% is the row with a consequence beyond this page: it rides along on Phenom career sites, so part of what looks like Aurelia adoption elsewhere in our data is Phenom tenants rather than teams that chose Aurelia. Only a few rows here are genuinely the employer's decision. Google Tag Manager at 94.77% and Google Analytics at 65.8% are the recruiting team's own measurement, reCAPTCHA at 88.24% guards the application form, and OneTrust at 51.63% is the consent banner a global employer has to run anyway. Paradox is the control that makes the argument checkable: its table carries no fingerprint of this kind, because its assistant is added to whatever site an employer already has. Co-occurrence here is measured across the 459 domains our live crawl currently answers for Phenom, which is a slightly wider set than the 444 in the August rollup this page's headline uses, so a percentage in this table divides by 459 rather than by 444.

Expert Analysis: Phenom Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

The stack table on this page is Phenom's, not its customers'
The co-occurrence rows are the most useful thing here once you read them the right way. Bootstrap on 99.78% of Phenom domains, Day.js on 99.56%, Vue.js on 98.91%. Three libraries at almost exactly the same number, across layers that have nothing to do with one another, is not a pattern that thousands of separate procurement decisions produce.
It is the pattern a hosted product produces. Phenom ships one front end to every tenant, and the crawler sees that front end on every careers host it serves. The rows underneath say the same thing: Play, the Scala web framework, at 78.43%, RequireJS at 69.72%, Amazon CloudFront at 75.82% and Amazon Web Services at 70.15%. Read together, those describe one application, not a thousand.
That gives a simple reading rule for this page. On most profiles a co-occurrence table tells you what the buyer chose. On this one it tells you what the vendor built, and only a handful of rows belong to the employer: Google Tag Manager at 94.77%, Google Analytics at 65.8%, OneTrust at 51.63%. Those are the recruiting team's own tags sitting on top of somebody else's application.
Aurelia at 62.53% is where this stops being an observation about one page. Aurelia is a JavaScript framework with its own footprint in our data, and a meaningful part of that footprint is Phenom career sites carrying it along rather than teams that evaluated Aurelia and picked it. Anyone counting framework adoption out of co-occurrence data has to net the hosted platforms out first, and this is a clean example of why.
A co-occurrence row at 99% is not a popularity signal. It is a build sheet.
The control that makes the argument checkable is the Paradox profile. Its table carries no fingerprint of this kind, because its assistant is dropped onto whatever site an employer already runs, so what shows up beside it is that employer's stack. Same category, same crawler, opposite shape.
Not one of these detections is on a homepage
89.1% of Phenom detections sit on a careers host, and 69.1% on a hostname other than the apex domain. What gives that meaning is comparing it with an ordinary infrastructure profile: Amazon ALB is 15.0% non-apex and Nginx 3.5%. Of the 34 organisations named on this page, all 34 were found on a careers or jobs hostname. careers.dhl.com, jobs.cvshealth.com, careers.roche.com, jobs.rbc.com, workwithus.circlek.com.
So this is not a list of companies whose websites run Phenom. It is a list of employers whose hiring front end runs Phenom, which is a narrower and more specific thing, and it explains the rest of the page. 141 of the 330 matched companies that report a headcount, 42.73%, employ more than 10,000 people, and 280, 84.85%, employ more than 1,000. On Amazon ALB the 10,001+ band is 1.61%. Counted on domains instead, 121 of the 444, 27.25%, belong to organisations of 8,000 or more.
Age agrees with size. Pre-1960 is the largest bucket at 35.82% of the 268 companies with a founding year, and 74.63% predate 2000: State Street recorded at 1792, BMO at 1817, U.S. Bank at 1863, RBC at 1864, Allianz at 1890, Philips at 1891, Roche at 1896. Large, old, and hiring without pause in health care (16.11% of the 329 companies with a recorded industry), retail (6.99%) and financial services (5.78%). The deployment surface found that buyer before the size table did.
Rank 19 of 77 is a domain count, not a market position
Phenom holds 0.72% of HR & Recruitment and ranks 19th of the 77 technologies in it. At face value that reads as a marginal product, and it is worth being precise about why that reading does not hold. The rows above are counted on a different surface. WP Job Openings leads on 19,192 domains and 31.1% as a WordPress plugin on ordinary company sites. Rippling at 12.94%, BambooHR at 9.13%, Paylocity at 6.48% and Teamtailor at 5.83% are suites detected on the corporate domain of a mostly small and mid-sized base.
One domain counts as one domain in every one of those rows, and the organisations behind them are nothing like the same size. A category share built from domain counts answers the question 'how many websites carry this marker', which is the question our crawl can answer. It does not answer 'how much of this market does the vendor hold', and on a page where 42.73% of matched companies employ more than 10,000, the distance between those two questions is the whole story.
0.72% of a category counted on domains, on a base where 42.73% of the companies employ more than 10,000. Both numbers are right, and they answer different questions.
If you want the neighbours measured the same way Phenom is, they are not in the top five. They are Radancy's TalentBrew, at 85.4% careers hosts, and Paradox, at 63.9%.
No migration table, and a churn number worth less than it looks
The switching section here is empty on purpose. Every corridor between Phenom and the other technologies in HR & Recruitment came back at seven domains or fewer, and most came back at one. I would rather publish nothing than dress a single domain up as a trend, which is the standard way a switching table becomes fiction.
The underlying reason is that there is barely any movement to attribute. 5 domains have dropped Phenom since we began tracking in March 2026, 1.13% of the 444 on this page. Before anyone reads that as retention, separate two things. Part of it is the product: a careers front end is wired into an employer's hiring process and does not get swapped casually. Part of it is the marker: the signal is a script from the vendor's own delivery host, which is as stable as the vendor's deployment and does not disappear the way a markup signal does on every rebuild. The window is short as well, starting in March 2026.
The same caution applies to the monthly series, 298 domains in June, 401 in July, 444 in August. Corpus-wide active detections widened 9.7% over that window, and a careers host only enters our set once we crawl something that links to it. Those three points describe how much of this population we could see, not anything the employers did.
What to take from the page. Phenom is a talent experience platform bought by large, old, mostly American employers with continuous hiring, deployed on a careers subdomain rather than a corporate site, and the technology table beside it is the vendor's build sheet rather than a set of integrations anyone selected. If you sell into this base, the segment is the 141 companies employing more than 10,000, and the property to watch is the careers host, not the homepage. If you are counting framework adoption, net hosted platforms like this one out of Aurelia's numbers before you quote them. TechnologyChecker.io resolves the 444 detections against 331 identified organisations and refreshes them every month.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses Phenom?
Our live crawl finds Phenom on 444 domains, and 331 of them resolve to an identifiable organisation. Named users include DHL Express, Allianz, RTX, CVS Health, Roche, RBC, U.S. Bank, Thermo Fisher Scientific, United Airlines and Philips. The typical user is a large, old employer: 141 of the 330 matched companies that report a headcount, 42.73%, employ more than 10,000 people, and Hospitals and Health Care is the most common industry at 16.11% of the 329 companies with a recorded industry.
How many customers does Phenom have?
We detect Phenom on 444 active domains as of our August 2026 rollup, and 331 of those, 74.55%, resolve to a company record. Counts are domains, not accounts, seats or licences, and one organisation can hold several, for example a group running separate careers hosts by region. A further 5 domains have dropped Phenom since we began tracking in March 2026, which is 1.13% of the 444 counted here.
What is Phenom's market share?
Phenom holds 0.72% of our HR & Recruitment category and ranks 19th of the 77 technologies in it, on 444 domains. WP Job Openings (31.1%), Rippling (12.94%), BambooHR (9.13%), Paylocity (6.48%) and Teamtailor (5.83%) sit above it. That share counts domains carrying a detectable marker, not spending or hires, and the comparison is uneven by construction: the rows above are found on ordinary company websites, while 89.1% of Phenom detections are on a careers host belonging to a much larger employer.
What are the best alternatives to Phenom?
It depends which part of the product you are replacing. The two technologies deployed the same way, on an employer's careers host, are TalentBrew, 85.4% of its detections on careers hosts, and Paradox with its Olivia assistant, 63.9%. By footprint in the same category the larger names are WP Job Openings (19,192 domains), Rippling (7,983), BambooHR (5,633), Paylocity (4,002) and Teamtailor (3,600), but most of those are HR or hiring suites detected on the corporate domain, which is a different purchase from a hosted careers front end.
Which countries use Phenom the most?
The United States leads with 242 of the 328 companies we could place, 73.78%. Canada and Germany tie for second on 13 each (3.96%), then the United Kingdom on 12 (3.66%), Switzerland on 7 (2.13%), India and Australia on 6 each (1.83%) and the United Arab Emirates on 4 (1.22%). Those eight countries account for 303 of the 328 located companies, 92.38%, so everything outside them is a scatter of ones and twos.
What size companies use Phenom?
141 of the 330 matched companies that report a headcount, 42.73%, employ more than 10,000 people, and 280, 84.85%, employ more than 1,000. Only 21 companies, 6.36%, employ 200 or fewer. For scale, the 10,001+ band is 1.61% of the companies on Amazon ALB. Counted on domains instead of companies, 121 of the 444, 27.25%, belong to organisations with 8,000 or more employees.
How old are companies that use Phenom?
Pre-1960 is the largest bucket at 35.82% of the 268 companies with a founding year, ahead of the 2010s at 12.69% and the 1990s at 11.19%. In total 200 of the 268, 74.63%, were founded before 2000, and 41, 15.30%, since 2010. State Street is recorded at 1792, BMO at 1817, Bureau Veritas at 1828, U.S. Bank at 1863, RBC at 1864, Allianz at 1890, Philips at 1891 and Roche at 1896.
What is the ideal customer profile for Phenom?
One profile, and it is unusually tight. A large employer, more than 10,000 staff in 42.73% of matched companies, founded before 2000 in 74.63% of those with a year on file, headquartered in the United States in 73.78% of located cases, hiring continuously in health care (16.11%), retail (6.99%) or financial services (5.78%). The deployment is as consistent as the buyer: 89.1% of detections sit on a careers host and 69.1% on a hostname other than the apex domain.
What does a Phenom detection actually mean?
It means the page we crawled loaded a script from cdn.phenompeople.com, the vendor's own content delivery host. That identifies the Phenom front end serving that hostname. It does not tell you which modules the employer licenses, how many recruiters use it, what the contract is worth, or how long it has been in place. It also has a blind spot in the other direction: a tenant serving those assets from a hostname of its own would not match this clause and would not be counted.
Why are almost all Phenom detections on careers subdomains?
Because that is where the product lives. 89.1% of Phenom detections sit on a careers host and 69.1% on a hostname other than the apex domain, against 15.0% non-apex for Amazon ALB and 3.5% for Nginx, which is what an ordinary infrastructure profile looks like. All 34 organisations named on this page were found on a careers or jobs hostname: careers.dhl.com, jobs.cvshealth.com, careers.roche.com, jobs.rbc.com, workwithus.circlek.com. This page measures the hiring front end of large employers, not their corporate websites.
Why do nearly all Phenom sites show Bootstrap, Day.js and Vue.js?
Because those are Phenom's, not the employer's. Bootstrap appears on 99.78% of Phenom domains, Day.js on 99.56% and Vue.js on 98.91%, with Play at 78.43% and RequireJS at 69.72% behind them. Three unrelated layers at effectively the same number means the platform ships them to every tenant. Treat that block as Phenom's build sheet rather than a list of integrations anyone chose, and note the knock-on: Aurelia rides along on 62.53% of Phenom domains, so part of Aurelia's apparent footprint elsewhere in our data is Phenom career sites.
Are companies leaving Phenom?
Not in any volume we can see. 5 domains have dropped Phenom since we began tracking in March 2026, 1.13% of the 444 counted here. Two things are mixed into that and both should be discounted before reading it as loyalty. A careers front end is embedded in an employer's hiring process and is not swapped casually, and the marker itself is stable: a script served from a vendor CDN does not flicker the way a signal read from page markup does. The tracking window is also short, starting in March 2026.
Which industries use Phenom most?
Hospitals and Health Care leads at 16.11% of the 329 companies with a recorded industry, more than twice Retail at 6.99%, with Financial Services at 5.78%, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing at 3.34%, and IT Services and Insurance level at 3.04%. Grouped, health care, pharma and medical equipment are 72 companies, 21.88%, and financial services, insurance and banking are 36, 10.94%. The ten labels shown cover 158 companies, 48.02%, with the rest spread across dozens of other industries.
Can this data show which applicant tracking system sits behind a Phenom career site?
No. The clause reads a script on the careers host, so it sees the front end an applicant lands on. Whatever system stores the application behind it is not visible from that page, and on 69.1% of these detections the careers host is a separate hostname from the corporate domain, so signals found on the main website will not close the gap either. Systems that are detectable in their own right, such as SuccessFactors and Greenhouse, are counted on their own profiles rather than inferred from this one.
