DevOps Engineer
We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure that powers our technology intelligence platform at scale.
TechnologyChecker is building the definitive technology graph for revenue teams. Our platform provides technology stack detection, verified contact enrichment, and 20-year historical intelligence that helps sales and marketing teams identify prospects, analyze competitors, and optimize their go-to-market strategies. We're a remote-first team focused on accuracy, reliability, and delivering features that move revenue metrics.
The Role
We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure that powers TechnologyChecker. You'll build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud resources, ensure system reliability at scale, and help the engineering team ship faster and more confidently.
Our platform processes millions of technology detections daily across 50M+ domains. You'll be responsible for keeping this infrastructure fast, reliable, and cost-efficient.
What You Will Do
- Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS including compute, storage, networking, and database services
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable deployments with automated testing and rollback capabilities
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus to ensure uptime and performance
- Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes with focus on resource optimization
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or Pulumi following infrastructure-as-code best practices
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
- Strong experience with AWS including EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, and Lambda
- Proficient with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) at production scale
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
- Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go for automation and tooling
